I purchased a **** ***** bass boat from Dixie Marine on April 14th, 2023 for $9846.14 I was informed by Mike S****** that it was water ready and that nothing was wrong with it, with a paper to prove it. From there on out, I have had many problems such as replacing the main power battery myself, water not coming out of the pee hole, motor overheating, 150hp motor wont go faster than 8mph, motor shut off when changing tanks, 2 wires were unhooked from battery, pistons are scored, and wires are melted on the motor. I had brought it back and the majority of the problems weren’t fixed after 2 weeks in the shop. After bringing it home, 2 trolling motor batteries are not charging with the wires on it, pistons are still scored, wires melted on motor, still not going faster than 8mph, they pulled the scancase and found the water tube not going to powerhead and was bent. I have been calling for months, multiple times and talking to multiple people here and no one has given me a solution or tried to resolve this. I am very unhappy with my purchase and the service I have been given. I talked to Rudy the boss and he said that the owner refuses to buy it back from me, but they will fix and sell it for me without charging 10% and give me the money, but they couldn’t fix it for me. It had been sitting in my driveway since I bought it and has only been taken out twice, once when I bought it and once when I got it back.

*** ******** purchased a **** ***** with a ******* ***. She took the boat straight to the water the day she picked it up. We received a phone call stating the motor was getting an alarm that appeared to be an over heat alarm and the boat would only run 8mph. We asked the she bring the boat back for us to take a look at it. We didn't see the boat for six weeks. When the boat did return she had a few other items that needed addressed as well such as wiring and a charger and or battery issue. At this time we looked over the motor to find a bent water tube in the lower unit. We removed the lower unit and resolved the overheating issue. We took care of the wiring issue. We didn't find an issue with the charging system. *** ******** takes the boat back out on the water and she says it will only run 8mph. I was out of the office when this occurred. When I returned to the office I attempted to contact *** ******** on three times. I get a voicemail that has not been set up yet therefore I was unable to leave a message. When we do finally get in contact with one another I offered to sell the boat for her at no charge when we normally charge a commission to do so. In conversation with *** ******** I told her we need to address the issue first and make sure the boat will run properly prior to selling to another customer. We now have the boat in our possession. We ran the boat on the Ohio River yesterday and the boat and motor perform flawlessly. Mike S****** has made arrangements to meet *** ******** at ***** **** *** ****** Sunday 8-13 to run the boat with her.
