    Stanley Steamer was used to clean all carpets in the house, clean the duct work and clean the dryer vent. The amount paid was $803.31 by check on 12-9-2024. All work was completed on 12-9-2024. After all work was completed we noticed that the heater was not working. As this was in December this was a serious issue. We called our heating contractor to make an emergency call which they did on 12-10-2024. The contractor found that the employee who did the duct cleaning had not reassembled the heater correctly. Our heater contractor corrected the defect and charged us $85.00 for the repair. My husband called Stanley Steamer and left a message, there was no response. A week later he again left a detailed message and again no response. Weeks later I called and the call was answered. I explain the situation and asked to be reimbursed for the repair. I was told "I'll drop a check in the mail on Monday" (the call was on Friday). No check arrived, again after three weeks I recalled and was told the same thing. It is now almost 2 months after the service and still no check. Please intervene. This is shameful after paying over $800.00. This amount was just for the duct work and dryer work, the carpet was an additional $386.10 for a total that day of $1,189.41. In addition to paying in cash we gave all workers a $20.00 tip each.
