    Dear BBB,

    On July 13, 2022 I went into a store called Deuce Designs, Located at 106 W. Front, Findlay, Ohio 45840, Phone 567-271-9228. I order two t-shirts and they debited my checking account for $35.36. She told me she would send me a file via my email by that night for approval before printing. When I hadn’t received the file by the next day at noon, I called their listed number, no one answered and I left a message to call me back. No one called. I called again the next day with the same results. On Monday the 18th I went into their store, another woman was attending. She took my name and number and said she would have the owner call me as soon as she got back, again no return phone call. On July 20 I called their number again and informed her I was cancelling the order and wanted the money returned to my checking account within three days. Again no contact and no return of my money. Finally on July 27 I hand delivered a Letter (copy attached) demanding they deliver to my office secure mailbox $40 cash by August 2. Again no contact and no money returned. I told them in the letter that I would contact the BBB if they did not comply. I am a member of the BBB (********* ******** ****). I am asking the BBB to contact this business and see if you can resolve this for me without my having to take any further legal steps. Please let me know of the status at ************ as soon as possible. Thanks.

    My. ******* you letter to me (owner) was received on 7/27/2022 during open business hours left in my store mail slot. We were not only open but I was inside and avail to any customers or walk ins. When you came in to purchase on 7/13/22you placed an order for CUSTOM ITEMS AND ON YOUR RECIEPT IT STATES NO REFUNDS NO EXCHANGES. So to better explain this to you, the order was verbally told to me and placed. I wrote it up and explained to you we will create what's called a proof and send it to you, you asked via email to be the route we said yes we would accommodate that, we tried sending you a email on 7/15 it was system returned to us, same day an hour later we tried calling with no answer, we then sent a text message from our business phone at 2:55 and again at 6:30 pm on 7/15, on 7/17 we left a voice message and on 7/19 you came into my business when my assistance was there not myself and left a note with her for me to call you which I also did that same day no answer. I keep excellent records and carry excellent customer reviews, I work very hard with the same effort on a $10 order as I do a $1000 order, everyone gets the same curiosity. Your letter to me was not only extremely one sided but very rude, and threatening in nature, I'm not uneducated or lost in how to conduct business as you apparently feel. I run Day to Day Store and do have an ill mother and a family. I am not always in store its Myself, My husband or my assistant. You receipt was very clear about our refund policy as its also posted in the store. The fact you believe you can threaten me to pay you a refund plus extra money back at your denomination choosing is completely out of line. My business is literally located right below your business the fact you have not once called the store phone or came down to speak to me during business hours or reached out to me via Facebook or Instagram, store phone or personal number is incorrect on your part not mine. You want to be paid extra for (the trouble you were apparently put through) Yet I took an order spent time working on it and pulled my inventory and also took several times to reach out to you with no response back, which I have physical records for everything from start to finish I keep great records. IF you feel as though threatening me to speak to the bbb is professional, ethical or makes any sense at all please do so I if you wanted or want a resolution this was defiantly not the best way for that, im right downstairs your items are sitting, in store, shirts, vinyl's, proofs and records of everything I just spoke with you on. I carry excellent reviews literally the best of ANY CUSTOM CLOTHING STORE IN OUR AREA!!!! I'VE NOT ONLY BEEN GIVEN HUNDREDS OF REVIEWS LOCALLY IVE HAD ONE MID LEVEL ONE ALL ARE EXCELLENT OTHER THAN THAT. Please understand im helping 100 customers a week and doing my best to provide great customer service to them all, this was not great at handing this situation but I feel as though I've responded best I can to you. You will not be getting any refund and I will keep my records handy if you would like your items you paid for just let me know.
