    Noticed bubbling paint and rust on my trucks rockers. During this time I looked at my warranty and I am still under warranty for rust. So I took my vehicle in to Fredericktown Chevrolet to have it assessed and fixed. I waited about a week before any contact was made to tell me that they would not cover my truck because the rust hasn’t penetrated all the way through.

    Tell us why here...The warranty Mr. ******* is referring to is for “rust
    through” conditions only. The rust bubbles on Mr. ********* truck are
    considered surface rust by Chevrolet and is therefore not covered. Surface rust is
    covered by the 3 year / 36,000 mile bumper to bumper warranty, which has expired.
    We would like to help Mr. ******* but Chevrolet has confirmed that the condition is
    not covered by the rust-through warranty. All warranties on the truck are
    manufacturer warranties and therefore warranty coverage is ultimately decided
    by Chevrolet and not the dealership. We regret that Mr. ******* is not satisfied with
    their decision. We have attached the images we provided to Chevrolet.

    I am rejecting this response because: There was no way you can tell the rust is only surface rust with only pictures. Underneath the paint could be significantly worse.It is extremely evident that Chevrolet does not care about their customers or their vehicles.
