Triple J was the tow company that was assigned by my insurance company to pick my vehicle up from the scene of a hit and run accident. It was on Sunday, October 2nd. The vehicle was to be taken to a local body shop which is less then 5 miles way. Instead they chose to take it to a undisclosed location. The vehicle has been "lost" for 3 days. They are not delivering the vehicle to the body shop until October 6th. We are now 4 days into a rental, 4 days behind any repairs. Not to mention we are being charged 4 days storage for a vehicle that didn't need to be stored. I have to spend a ridiculous amount of time on the phone with the body shop and insurance company just to be able to locate this vehicle. We have a 20day Max rental on our car and 4 days have been wasted trying to locate a vehicle that could of been dropped off at the body shop. seems like a scam and fraudulent.

Unfortunately, we did get this call from this customers insurance company. However, the insurance company requested it come back to our impound lot until they could see damages from accident and determine if vehicle was able to be fixed at a body shop. Also, customer could not be told this because the phone number given to us by the insurance company was not the correct number, and they did not have one for customer they stated. So, we are only able to tow the car where the insurance company request it goes. This is a situation this customer needs to take up with their insurance. I still do not have a phone number for this customer. If they would like to call me I would have no problem explaining to them what really occurred.
