    Called for a front end alignment on a truck and was given a price of $129 before tax and it was agreed on. I show up to pick up the truck and was told the price is now $350 because a front end alignment only is considered a basic alignment that does not cover all of needs for a proper front end alignment. They refused to hold their word on the price that was agreed and tried to say I asked for only one part of the aligns to be done. Very unprofessional and scammy.

    ********************* had called early on the week of May 1 and spoke with an order writer about the cost of a front end alignment on his Chevrolet pickup truck, he was quoted a basic alignment with any parts or additional work extra. He left the vehicle after hours for an early morning appointment. At no time did ********************* inform us that the pickup had recently had a 'lift kit' installed, which changes the geometry of the factory suspension. ************** brought the vehicle onto our alignment machine and began preliminary work on the unit, he found loose wheel nuts and a loose nut and missing ****** pin on the upper passenger ball joint, the wheel nuts were torqued and the nut tightened on the ball joint and a ****** pin installed. ************** then set the 'toe-in' to 1/16" in, when the vehicle was brought it was 3/16" toed out. We did not proceed further with the alignment service as the vehicle had the lift kit installed requiring additional time and adjustments. ********************* was not billed for setting the toe-in or tightening the loose components on his front suspension.
