  Tree line trimming.
  They were sent here from AES. They did not inform me they would be on my property. I called the police and they lied to the police stating they had left a door hanger to inform me but that is not what happened. I opened my back door and, surprise, there was a man right there. There was also another man in the opposite tree. Both were using chain saws and pruner poles to hack up my tree around the lines. I asked them why they were on my property without my knowledge and they started yelling in Spanish. A few minute later someone came to my door and said they knocked earlier, but that was a lie because I have been home all morning, up since 7am, and in my living room most of the morning. I do have a door bell, but they didn't know that because they lied about knocking on my door. NONE of them had IDs, and when I asked them to show ID they could not produce one. I told them to get off my property and they did not. I called the police, and the police had seen no ID on their persons or vehicles either. Unfortunately, they continued to disrespect me as the property owner, and, according to the police, AES and their contractors can violate my rights as a property owner anytime they want to and nothing will be done because they have a right to do so. I was not even allowed to file a complaint. The police office told me the only recourse I have it to move or, if I have all my trees cut down they have no excuse to be on my property. So, think about this when you go to hire this company.....they WILL take away your peace of mind AND your rights as the property owner and never think twice since AES has given them carte blanche to do so. I have pictures and this review has been posted on Google.

  Hi Susan,
  AES sends out an automatic call to inform the homeowners when crews will be in the area to maintain the tree lines. If you have a current phone number on file with AES, then you should have received that call. We also have notifiers that knock and leave door hangers up to 3 weeks in advance. Our crews give a courtesy knock before starting, however if no one answers, the crews proceed with the work.
  Upon research with our crews, the crew working at your property knocked and waited 10 minutes before starting the work. After the situation escalated, the supervisor knocked and spoke with you. Our crews are instructed to only show IDs to law enforcement if instructed to do so. Our crews were not violating the law in this case as your trees are in the right away. We are hired by AES to maintain the tree lines, unfortunately the trees on your property are in the right away and needed trimmed to allow for the necessary clearance set forth by AES. If you would like a manager from our corporate office to meet with you to discuss this matter, please call our office and ask to speak with the operations manager.
