    We rented unit *** from this business on 9/30/22. We had to do the contract through their website. We were given a gate access code at that time, when we were assigned unit ***. When we attempted to move items in on 10/1/22, the gate access code we were given did not work. There was no one on site in the office, but a maintenance person was there. He saw the contract, tried the access code himself, then let us in to move our items into our unit. He advised us to call the office on Monday to get a new code. We have called and called and called. It appears that no one is EVER in the office. We have left repeated messages stating our issue, requesting a call back and a new gate access code. We have not heard from the business at all, nor have we received a new code, nor have we been able to access our unit since 10/1/22.

    We apologize for the inconvenience to our valued customer. At the time ****** ****** rented the unit online the Grove City location was an unmanned location due to the company having a difficult time trying to find an employee for the location. However, when I stopped in at location to check emails and voice mail and received the email about the gate not working. I contacted Mr. ****** tried the gate code he was given with him on the phone and the gate opened. Please understand that there are times the office is not open and with internet, software issues there may be a glitch once and awhile a delay in sending data once again we apologize. Feel free to call the office Ms. ****** our new manager would be more than happy to help with any issues.

    I conditionally accept the business's response to resolve this complaint; however I feel we should receive 1 month free rental, as compensation for the gate code not working. We have been unable to access our storage unit since October 1st, complaint was filed October 26th, and my husband was finally contacted after a multitude of calls, only after filing this complaint. Regardless of being short-staffed, the voice mail states to leave a message and your call will be returned, but it never was.
