    After being involved in a motor vehicle accident recently (for which I was not cited) I took my vehicle to Best Way Automotive for repairs, who agreed to repair it and accept my insurance as payment. The 1st Progressive check was recieved by me, deposited to my account and a personal check sent to Best Way Automotive. Upon completion of repairs, and in order to pick up my repaired car, I paid Best Way Automotive what they told me Progressive owed them from my personal account.

    I recieved the balance due check from Progressive insurance shortly thereafter, for a significantly lower amount than was provided by Best Way. I stopped payment on the initial check and immediately wrote a corrected check to Best Way for the agreed amount between Best Way and Progressive insurance as well as my deductible. This check to Best Way has been cashed.


    In the interim, as I drove the vehicle to my home in South Carolina, I was dissatisfied with the way in which it drove. I've taken it to one shop in SC and have been told that in fact the repairs were not done well, using substandard parts and it needs additional work. I am currently having it checked by another repair shop and have been in contact with Progressive.
    At this point Best Way has sent multiple emails threatening to file police reports against me and getting a felony warrant issued against me.
