On 5/20/2024 Lester B**** and I signed a contract for him to paint all the baseboards, trim and doors in my house for $800 which included materials paint and labor and he asked for $400 upfront . He then showed up on 5/27/24 and started sanding down door frame . Then didn’t show up for work for the rest of the week. He then asked for $125.00 on 6/10/2024 and then $81.28 on 6/15/24 . I had purchased the paint from Sherwin Williams for $193.72. He received all the payments for work not completed and also for work done poorly . On 6/15/24 when he left , I went upstairs to inspect and see what work he had done and took pictures of the poor paint work he had done . Lester was supposed to come back on 6/17/24 and made up some excuse . Throughout the time he never showed up to work on time and neither did he show up every day for work and neither did he work at least 6 hrs in a day . He made up excuses upon excuses and I got fed up with this job taking more than 5 weeks . I do not want him to come back to my house to do any work as I just want my $800 back from this company More from Les LLC which I got off Angie’s list as a referral.
