On December 6th 2024I visited the valley thrift store on Reading road, in Ohio. I often visit this thrift store and usually have no issues. Today that was not the case. I bought a mini fridge and a fan. Just some household things that have needed. Took such things to my truck loading mob. No cart was offered nobody to help me carry the fridge, but that's okay. Went back in to the thrift store, proceeded to pick up some articles of clothing for my kids for the winter. As I walked around the store I was followed by 3 or 4 employees. I wasn't really trying to pay them any mind, but as I circle the racks of articles of clothing, I noticed more and more, that day would stand right next to me or be waiting for me at the end of the aisle and I don't know watching any and everything.I pick up. When I was through browsing all the clothing garments, I headed to the check. The same 4 employees, 3 standing around me in the fourth. There was a gentleman who was bringing me out. Watch me, scan every item and double check each tag that I scan. I've never felt more watched in my life. When asked what the issue was or why it was necessary to be follow me around? They looked at me as if they didn't know what I was saying. I asked again this week to a manager and then the employee was ringing me out. Tell me fuck you. I've never been spoken to as such, ever in my life and I don't know, I never want to return. To that store ever again, other customers we're standing here watching, because now it was like a spectacle for everybody in the store to watch. Never got to speak to a manager and wasn't even allowed to finish ringing out the things that I had wanted to buy.

8/28/2023: Valley thrift store has changed its method of offering percentage savings without distributing complete info to help customers. They now offer color code that is different each day that you may find posted on entrance door. It does not state, however, what percentage is attached to each color and on which day it applies. A tag on 1st pair of shoes read $13.99 with a "blue" tag on the label. This pair received a 50% discount. Second pair of shoes (again reading a blue color) was offered no discount (charged full price of $28.99). I spoke to a manager next day and was told the actual they used was listed on the bottom of the receipt (no discount applied on that day). How can a customer know that if they don't distribute info such as: on day (Monday, Tue, Wed, etc. - tab - color code (color) applies and will receive - tab (percentage off listed price.
Customers deserve to be treated decently and fairly. I live on a Social Security income and cannot afford this inconsiderate treatment.
