      If I could give this business a negative rating, I would. My experience was extremely disappointing due to a lack of professionalism, particularly from the manager, ****. Her demeanor was dismissive and unhelpful, and she did not demonstrate the ability to handle customer concerns appropriately. She stated that she did not need ******* business, claiming the company already had more than enough customers.
      Additionally, the company misrepresented their policies. I was told the repair would not be covered under warranty, yet it was clear they never contacted the manufacturer to confirm. I was also informed that the deposit would be refundable, but when I chose not to proceed with the repair, the deposit was not returned.
      I would not recommend doing business with this company based on my experience, as my concerns align with many of the reviews already shared by other customers.

      ***** of Florence, AL sent my 1 year old Craftsman riding lawn mower which has a 3 year warranty, to this place to repair the *********** transmission. Their assessment was that I had water in my gas and they cleaned the carb. There was not a thing wrong with the engine. They charged me $192.72 for this bogus repair. I am sure that I am not the only having these fraudulent charges tacked to the bill. FOR EVERYONE USING THIS REPAIR FACILITY, REVIEW YOU ITIMIZED BILL. ***** is just as guilty, They let it happen. This company is committing fraud across state lines.

      I bought a weed whacker and chainsaw from *****.It took about a month when the pull cord on the weed whacker broke and I brought it in for replacement.About another month later my chainsaw had issues with the safety brake so I dropped that off as well.After 3 months I called ***** and asked whats going on and was told that Altaquip took the weed whacker apart and it has scores on the head I know about engines so taking it apart was weird and not needed so I turned down that part of the repair since it ran great when dropped off- I finally get it after 5 months and put it in garage.The chainsaw was also sent to Altaquip and u was told it was out of warranty- I called the insurance company and they said they would pay for the chain saw. It needed to be looked at for the safety break bar and why the bar/ chain was not working good. They finally call me after a month or more and say its 180$ for a new bar and chain. Since the insurance was paying for it I agreed. I just got back in country and its cold in Fla and I have yard work to do.The weed whacker started right up and the engine blows up.The chainsaw starts and the blade does not move.I cannot believe these people are in business.
