    1/29/25 repair man came and stated that parts were required, he had to check with his boss to order, then we never heard back from anyone.

    2/18/25 we contacted them and they said a repair man would be out the next day.

    2/19/25 no call no show on repair person.

    We have not been able to get ahold of them since. This business is used by **  appliance for issues covered under warranty. We have not been able to get this issue resolved. Our washer is still in need of repair.

    We tried reaching the customer numerous times, but her phone number would not allow the call through.  We reached out to her at least twice via email, but no replies.  Due to contract obligations, we have to be very aggressive with scheduling and closing repairs for statistical goals.

    We'd be happy to reach out to the customer again, if they can provide a better contact method.

    AAA TV& Appliance repair was contracted by Lowes to come to our home on multiple occasions for warranty claims (*********). The last time this company sent a technician, my husband was out of town and I do not have the technical experience to relay the jargon to my husband so I recorded the technician telling me the ice maker was unrepairable and that the ice maker will never work again and to not turn on my icemaker or my freezer will defrost again. When I contacted Assurant, who is handling the warranty claim and asked why we have not been offered the buyout on an appliance we purchased approximately 1 yr and a half ago, I was informed that the contractor AAA TV & Appliance Repair had not provided the documentation that our refrigerator/ice maker was unrepairable. When I was contacted by AAA TV & Appliance repair for our 4th claim, I told them, " I don't know why you're coming, your technician told me it was unrepairable the last time he was here." He informed me "Our technician would never tell a customer directly their appliance was unrepairable." When I informed him that I recorded his technician telling me this, he became very upset & informed me that his company would not be returning to my home for another service call because he did not appreciate me recording his technician. Later that day I received an email from Assurant/Lowes that our appliance had been serviced that very day, which it was not.
    The resolution we are seeking is that AAA TV & Appliance repair to not hold our warranty claim hostage and to do the right thing which is to provide to Assurant with the report stating that our refrigerator is unrepairable so we can purchase another appliance from another retailer who honors their warranties .

    Greetings,

     

    We have made three trips to customer home all under her extended warranty (no charge to her) for a problematic ice maker repair.  

     

    Regardless of what our technicians personal feelings are, we (the contractor) are not authorized to determine units to be unrepairable....this must come directly from the manufacturer.

     

    Due to customers questionable business tactics with her cell phone, we will no longer be visiting the home.  We have tried all we can for this customer, just as we do for all our customers.
