In April of 2016 I Contracted with Siding and Roofing Solutions LLC to install a new roof an gutters on my home. Last year I called the owner Mike to have someone come out. No one called back and I did not call back. This spring the problem got worse. I called again on 8/8/24 and spoke with him again, he stated that " he would have to look up my info". He made mention of it was only him and his wife that take the phone calls so he would get back shortly. He has not returned any of my follow up calls to both his cell and business phones. I had two other companies come out and the found holes in the shingles and raised nails. This was improper installation. I even have photos. Mike said that the shingles are warranted but I need a service call for the repairs
I need to have the roof repaired. He could remedy this by calling me back and scheduling the service. I do not feel that I should have to pay a service call for bad installation

On 7/16/20 we paid a total of $14,640 for a roof replacement and gutters on our home. *** **** ****** *he owner came to our home and wrote up the proposing document. The roof was put on, a water leak inside of the Sunroom led to ceiling tile, ceiling and floorboard damage. We were advised that the chimney needed to be replaced. Siding & Roofing Solutions recommended Signature Masonry, (******), to do the job. Signature Masonry was called, and gave a proposal of $2800 on 11/17/20 to tear down the existing chimney and rebuild. They were notified the following day that we accept the proposal. The chimney CO. wrapped the chimney for the season, until the weather was better for repair. The chimney was torn down and rebuild 3/29/21. November of, 2021 sunroom ceiling and wallboards and walls were repaired, and repainted, 11/2021. December, 2021 apparent leak in sunroom continued. Chimney guy out to assess work, gave 100% assessment saying texting not a chimney issue. On Feb. 4, 2022 apparent, visible water rings on ceiling of recently repaired and painted sunroom. **** the Roofer with Siding & Roofing made aware via text. Due to snow, ****, (roofer), not able to assess roof until 4/22/22. He said he **** order and apply commercial grade sealant and notify me when it comes in. June 5th, more leakage into sunroom, water rings much larger. After numerous texts, with no responses the commercial grade sealant was applied 7/23/22. October 19th, I notified **** ***** and **** the roofer that evening at 9PM via text messaging sending pictures and videos of an active leak noticeable in my attic. **** came out to my home on 10/29/22 to access the areas and try to reproduce the leakage by placing a water hose on the roof. He was able to see leakage. Said that he **** be doing a process over the next few days or weeks to get problem solved and they would pay for sunroom ceiling, wall damage. Next appt. was scheduled for 11/3/22 **** was a No Show

    Better Business Bureau:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID 18357735, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

RECEIVED VIA EMAIL BY BBB STAFF MEMBER:

I've attempted to leave my response 2x's but i get a message stating the request entity is too large. I would like to forward videos and pictures. The roofer, (****), has been out to my home, (doing something to the roof/chimney), 2x's since the complaint with the BBB, most recently yesterday. Yesterday the roofer and chimney guy were here together, stripping existing materials away and applying others. The roofer is due to come back to my home tomorrow and the chimney guy, Dustin, is supposed to come a week later, (part of the repair???)

I agree with the owner, it is too premature to call this issue resolved since attempts are being made to rectify this issue. Therefore, I would like to keep this case open for review.

    Regards,
    Erica P. Glaude
