    Handyman removed old attic stairs & installed new ones - quote given accurate / paid
    We also, in a separate job, requested the wall behind the towel bars in the hall bath be reinforced.
    Were quoted $450 (he stated he quoted between $450 / 550) as it would require multiple visits
    While doing the job, we also asked him to remove a hand towel rack & repair the wall (minor)
    Work was completed & was done well
    When the bill was received, it came in at $600 + $50 - for the minor work in Master Bath
    Total $650. Now, I could see it being $500 (450 + 50) But $650 - that is $200 more than originally quoted.
    I paid the $650
    The work was done well; however, I feel the final bill was much too high.
    I should have requested the initial quote in writing - so, my fault - will not make that mistake in future.
    I do recommend that anyone using this Company (or really any other for this type of work) get a quote in writing before having the work done. If the contractor feels work will take more time / effort or If changes are made, make sure you get a revised quote in writing. That way there will not be any surprises when you receive your bill.
