      I hired waters hardscape and designs to regrade my back yard. The did half of the job that was promised. **** ****** - owner of the company, I have never spoken to, each time i called him I was immediately called back by **** ******, an employee of his. **** came to our home and was there for 10 minutes and spoke to my wife about the scope of the project. My wife said we would like our yard regraded into a gentle slope to look very similar to our neighbors. **** stated no problem we can do that and that was pretty much it. Next we received and estimate from the company for 5100.00 dollars. Initially i thought that was pretty high but it was worth it to us to get our yard done. After thinking about it i sent an email to **** asking specific questions about details of the project, and as usual, was contacted by his employee ****. **** answered all my questions to my satisfaction. Thursday September 12, **** shows up to my house with and one truck of soil was delivered. **** proceeded to drive a tracked skid steer all over my asphalt driveway and sideward. No mats or plywood was used to protect. Around 3 pm I got a call from **** saying he was done with the dirt and he still needed to spread it out a little more but was wondering if her could settle up with what was done. I asked him how much it would be and he responded the full amount. i was at work and hadn't seen the job but **** sent pictures and said here it is.. I was a bit taken aback that he asked for full payment when no mesh no grass seed was done. When i got home from work **** was sitting in his truck three houses up the street while my driveway, sidewalk, side yard and front yard were all covered i dirt. **** said he would fill in spots on my front yard but ended up spreading dirt in about a third of my front yard and all of my side yard (because the didnt use mats or protect the side yard from the damage the skidsteer created. so now i have a mess in my front - back side and driveway.
