      This company is horrible. You should not even be rated. Keeps patients from seeing the doctor they want

      I fractured my leg in India in 9/23. I called Anthem and they approved to get the surgery in India. I paid out of pocket and submitted for reimbursement in September and they processed the claim. They deducted 3000 dollars as per plan deductible and said 1700 dollars will be reimbursed. I have called several times but still have not received the cheque.

      Way too often they send letter stating it has come to our attention you were treated for injury that someone else should pay for. Not one of these have ever made any sense The last one was related to a pathology report after a debridement of a SURGICAL WOUND! Seriously either someone doesnt know how to read chart or they just really dont want to pay

      I was approved for baractric surgery. They have now denied all my claims over the last 6 months. I have been trying to get intouch with someone for days per email and phone number. No one will respond to me! I now owe thousands of dollars that insurance was suppose to pay! I don't know what else to do besides get an attorney.

      Awful service to pay for. One more way to rip the American worker off is no response from insurance companies. This company illegally sold me insurance to me stating my unmarried partner was allowed to be covered under my policy. Found out 10 payments later, through my HR representative at my job that this is illegal. My rep was able to get my taxable income back that was charged illegally, a 29 year old man, as a dependent under my name. My refund was given back broken up amongst many pay checks making it very stressful to decipher among taxes applied. This company is wrong and it is disgusting what they have put me through. I have not received calls or emails back to change my contact information or make any insurance claims. I would feel completely in the dark if it wasn't for my HR rep at my job. I log into my app and it still has all my prior information that should be adjusted with no one answering emails or phone calls. As a third party provider they should be sued and put behind bars. Highly do not recommend contigo health insurance.
