These guys were hired by my electric company to trim branches and take trees down. I gave them permission to use my driveway for their bucket truck and they left HALF EATEN FRIED CHICKEN in my yard. My dog almost got into it and would have choked, my fiance sent me a picture of the chicken when I was at work.I called the ******* and he's like "I wasn't with them today- but I told you they may not be out today it may be tomorrow."I explained to him they were at my house all morning and I had footage of them on my Ring doorbell. He just said "Oh." And I ended the conversation because he didn't care his men are nasty garbage dumps who treated my yard like trash. If something happened to my dog I would have come undone

The folks at Davey Tree are simply, the best. They are responsive, prompt and friendly and ***, the project coordinator and account representative, took the time to preview our property for ***** removal and tree planting and even stopped to see how the project was going during the process. The grinder operator ***** was extremely professional and diligent performing the removal. I highly recommend them for any projects! They are price competitive and diligent for pest control or any other yard maintenance needs.The Davey Tree Expert Company

Absolutely terrible. I didn't hire them. They were sent by somebody else – the electric company? They were on my property for a day and a half before I ran them off. They worked astonishingly slowly. Lots of trucks, lots of men doing I don't know what. They took down the remains of one tree and cut a few branches. They left a huge mess that is costing me several hundred dollars to fix. They destroyed my mailbox, and made ruts so deep that I don't even know if "ruts" is the right word for them. They didn't pick up all of their debris. I think I smelled marijuana smoke.The Davey Tree Expert Company

Thanks for their excellent removal of our tree in ******. We appreciated that they were cognizant of the other neighbors' property. They exhibited great skill and expertise in removing the branches safely. Furthermore, they protected our deck with mats and removed any small branches left on the snow. Never Again! I've used them before but this time, they left unsealed cuts on my oak trees and didn't return my call complaining about it. Now I'll have to deal with Oak **** and sue them for whatever dies. Run in the other direction from this company!The Davey Tree Expert Company

They came back a week later, pruned more branches and it looks like the cuts are now all sprayed. Time will tell if oak **** sets in. It was 80 degrees and high humidity the week they cut and left them unsealed.Review fromKevin C

Wonderful service from the Arborist *** who came and spent nearly an hour walking our property and discussing issues. It was great to take a proactive approach to the health and maintenance of our trees and plan for the future. In the past, tree companies have come out and they just give a price for cutting down this tree or that tree - no concern about the health of the trees or what steps should be taken. We had to go ahead with the Lantern Fly treatment, and it worked amazingly well. We also did treatments on a couple of other trees and will be having them back to trim and remove dead branches. Hoping that with their advice, skill and care, the days of having to cut trees down in our yard are gone! Thank you *** and Davey Tree Expert Company!The Davey Tree Expert Company

I look out my kitchen window today at a totally transformed back yard. The credit goes to ****, **** *. and **** *. They arrived around 8 am and spent more than half a day working here. There were a number of projects to do including removing a dead crabapple, trimming a silver maple, a magnolia, a locust and a burning ****. Thanks also for taming a challenging section of ground cover and weed growth that resisted all my attempts! They cut back a lilac tree in order to regenerate it. These young men were excellent workers. They answered my questions and addressed any concerns I had. They were personable and respectful, sought clarification if necessary and were mindful of our neighbours' properties. The cleanup was excellent. I was very impressed with the work of this team and also, ****** *****, my initial contact for this work. We discussed all that needed to be done and from that discussion, he wrote a detailed proposal. He checked in with the men as they were beginning the day's work. Excellent team work! 1 starDavey is getting a 1 star for this past season. We have been with Davey since we moved here after separating from the Army. For the past 7 years, the service and customer ********************** was excellent, until this season where communication was terrible, treatment of our lawn was absolutely terrible. I had the worst looking lawn in our development. We were brushed off for a month on getting extra treatment, and when they came they didnt even treat all of the problem areas, I have video proof of it. On top of that, they are trying to charge me an extra payment without explanation of what the payment is for. I do not recommend Davey with the current management that is in place.Review fromHarry D

1 starIn spring 2023 had a Davey Arborist come to check a Kwanzan Cherry Tree seemed DYING.Person looked and said was Drought Stress and Fungal disease. Agreed to treatment at cost of $200. This year 2024 a new Arborist came tree was worse he didn't do anything except say cost now $210. Assumed they knew what were doing and paid. Middle of summer this year tree worse over 50% dying. Called another company. Arborist came instead of saying what cause was he took a branch sample for testing. RESULTS came back as TREE BORERS (Scolytus Rugulous).This was severe infestation could Kill Tree and affect my other Cherry Tree. Arborist said could treat but Dead Areas would NOT GROW BACK! As over 50% DEAD best to remove. Had Removed.Sent email asking for my $410 back as misdiagnosed and RESULTED in DEATH of TREE! Da vey NEVER REPLIED! ******* had filed complaint already but nothing showed. Finally if had been CORRECTLY DIAGNOSED in 2023 may have been SAVED. 1 starI am giving Davey a 1 star based on communication. Overall the crew did a good job in trimming my 30 year old pine trees so I can get under them and the tree in the from yard was covering the driveway, however when I tried to contact the arborist he only replied by e-mail. I gave him my phone number since I thought they are busy and I wanted to touch basis regarding the over hang on the north side of the house which was not touched, I mentioned that I only access my e-mail on Sundays and even gave him my phone number to call. No response for almost 2 weeks. However it was included in the price!.
