On going issue began about 15 months ago. In April 2022 I ordered a monument from Harden County Monument Company for my deceased parents. The monument was paid in full on May 2, 2022. That purchase included the foundation and also the removal of a World War II plaque from my father’s grave that was to be placed on the back of the monument. This plaque was issued from the government and had been marking my father’s grave since 1960.
The company did remove the plaque from my father's grave late last year however, at this time the monument still has not been completed and set. I have called several times and am always given an excuse or told it will be set in “a couple of weeks”. I live in Sunbury, Ohio. My parents are buried in Kenton, Ohio. Every time I drive over to the cemetery to check on placement of the monument, it is about a 1 ½ hour drive one way (3 hours round trip).

At this point I would really like to get my father’s plaque and my money back so I can find another monument company. Any help you can offer me is much appreciated.
I have attached to this email:
    1. The original purchase contract
    2. The copy of the contract marked “Pd full”
    3. Copy of the bank check stub from ******** Federal for $4,006.00, to Harden County Monument Company (dated 05/02/2022)
