    I purchased a set of Intellitronix gauges through ****** ****** on 1/5/2023.
We received the gauges and I took them to a custom hot rod shop to have installed (******* **** *** ************). They contacted Intellitronix after multiple failed attempts to have the gauges calibrated. Intellitronix advised them to send the gauges back and they would replace them. RO# ********** They received the new set of gauges in and they still will not calibrate. I paired the $1600 labor bill, picked the truck with the gauges installed (not working) and contacted Intellitronix myself. I’ve shared videos with them of what the gauges are doing. They want me to continue troubleshooting but I cannot afford to waste more money. I licensed, insured and bonded shop is telling me the gauges are no good and that they have tried everything they were instructed to try and more. I need Intellitronix to pay the costs of the troubleshooting and send me all notes from their file with the repair shop to troubleshoot. I will never do business with them again.

    Better Business Bureau:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

We did speak briefly and the entire conversation was the employee attempting to tell me there was no way the gauges are faulty and that they weren’t going to cover the charges for the other work. I haven’t asked for the power steering leak costs to be paid for by Intellitronix. The licensed shop that installed the gauges worked through every recommendation that Intellitronix gave them over the phone. They spent hours installing, disabling and reinstalling the gauges, were charged shipping to return/replace the unit and when I picked the truck up, the gauges still would not calibrate. The employee stated the gauges have been produced since 2018 and there’s no way they’re not a good product. I’m not saying that every gauge set is defective, but both sets installed in my truck are useless. The shop I worked with specializes in vintage automobiles. They said go with ****** ******* next time because the support and the product through Intellitronix was lacking.

    Regards,

I'm sorry for your experience. However, it is important to note that you did not receive 2 separate dashboards. You received one, and we did perform extra work on the original dash. Be that as it may, please return the dashboard to us. We can provide a prepaid shipping label or reimburse the cost. We will refund the original cost of the dash, additionally, please advise the portion of the labor charges you would like us to consider.

    Thanks in Advance
