    In September 2024, I signed a contract with a contractor, ************************************** # Central Ohio Quality Builders, ************************************************** phone number: ************** to build a three bed 2.5 Bath A-frame cabin at my second home. He promised to complete all work by 1st Jan 2025 for a total of $128,500. Along with this, he also promised to complete some remodeling work at mt primary residence. .Payment schedule Paid on Payment Method $34,075 9/11/2024 (Signed) Paid Via Wire Transfer $4,000 11/4/2024 Cheque $2,477 11/7/2024 Paid for Flooring at ****** (Covered in contract) $3,325.00 12/10/2024 Paid Via WireTransfer $13,000.00 1/9/2025 Paid Via Wire Transfer I provided significant money, promising to complete and deliver the project by January 1, 2025. He also vowed to finish my other projects, including the Primary residence basement remodeling and barn house renovations. He mentioned that because I had given him a large project, he continued asking for more money but did not follow the timeline. He did not start construction until 26th Dec 2024.He began the basement remodeling at my primary residence, which he has not fully completed, and he occasionally asked for additional funds. In the last week of December 2024, he performed land preparation work for the A-frame cabin but never applied for a permit to build the house. Later in January, he texted me, stating that we could not add any other structure due to some deed restrictions on the property.He has taken almost 50% of the payment but has not completed the work. Now, he is unresponsive and does not engage when I request the return of my funds or the resumption of the project.I am continually texting and calling him to return the money and start some of the pending work he is supposed to do.
