We signed our daughter up for her driving classes and training back in May 2024 with Class A Driving. She completed her last in car on October 4th. We scheduled her driving test at the *** for Saturday 11/9. That morning we went to the website to print her certificate and it was not loaded. Their website stated it would be there within 3-5 business days. I am attaching a picture of that because they have since changed it. I think they have changed it because of the mistake they made with our daughter. Our daughter now has to wait another month. We tried contacting someone that day with no luck. On Monday 11/11 my husband received an email from ***** *********** apologizing and saying the certificate would be uploaded by noon that day. I am attaching that email as well. I spoke on the phone with ****** on Tuesday 11/12 and she was extremely unprofessional and rude to me. She said that it was our fault and there would be no refund. They have breached the contract. My biggest concern with ****** is that before hanging up on me very rudely she let me know she had a student in the car. I have some serious concerns about her arguing with me on the phone while an unlicensed driver is learning to drive with her. On Friday 11/15 I went back to the website and they have changed the wording quite a bit. ***** also stated in an email that they have 6 months to finalize everything, which is untrue. I will attach the contract. The only mention of 6 months is for the students. At this point, I am not only angry because of the distress this has caused my daughter, but I am also concerned about the well being of other teenagers. I would like a full refund of $377.38.Business Response

Attached you will find a signed training agreement allowing us 6 months to complete training it also states there is No Refunds will be issued.also attached is a screenshot of students account showing we still have 82 days to complete such training. Also attached is the certificate of completion that was uploaded to the student portal by noon the following day after I was notified of the situation. We did strive as a convenience to the customer to upload it 3-5 business days after the last driving session. in this case it was later. I investigated as to why it was not uploaded and after conversations with staff and the expectation I was putting on them. have decided we will no longer offer the convenience as we have 6 months to complete all training. As for the situation with my staff and the conversation over the phone I investigated it and suspended the staff member for 1 week and she is losing her holiday for the incident. It was 100% unacceptable to hang up on a customer and blame them. I have corrected this situation and will not be issuing a refund as all services agreed to in the signed 6 month contract has been fulfilled in a timely manner. I again apologize for the inconvenience it caused and have apologized several times by email to complaint. Please feel free to contact me with any other questions you may have
Thanks

I am rejecting this response because:Looking at the fourth paragraph in the contract it states students have 6 months, nothing about the company, so that is not true. Let us not forget your employee driving with a child while arguing. You changing the wording on your website is proof that you were wrong. Also, while Im at it, I should add that my daughter said you are peanuts the entire time. I truly hope you are checking with students about allergies. A couple of incidents with your company are putting childrens lives at risk. Very disappointing. We just want a refund for your incompetence in getting the certificate uploaded with 3-5 business days.

We paid $400 to have our daughter attend Class A+ Driving school. The entire process took almost a year. Getting her scheduled was very difficult as their voicemail is full and their office is never staffed. This has been the worst experience with a local company. They don't return calls or email. It has taken over a year to get my daughter scheduled for her sessions - *****, the owner, is very difficult to work with. We were informed after meeting every requirement, class and in-car session. They have not been able to supply the certificate of completion and informed us that my daughter has to retake the entire course with in-cars and everything again. From the beginning The driving school has not been able to supply the driving certificate and will not give us an answer as to why - only that she has to repeat every class. Her portal shows she has completed, passed every driving class and in car session. Because of Class A is not able to complete the service we paid for - we would like a refund which has been denied by the company.Business Response

We have tried to resolve this situation by offering at no additional charge all 32 hours of training. Student was scheduled to complete training within the time required by the State of Ohio the student did not have their Temporary driving ID that is required to drive a InCar session so we were unable to drive them that day. Student also never turned I. Required documents from the 24 hours of classroom training I was told it was thrown away during a move. I contact the Staye of Ohio Dept of Public Safety to whom we are regulated by and was told I could not issue the certificate I tried to explain to Mr. ****** through emails it was not my certificate to issue. I explained he could read this on a State of Ohio training agreement his daughter and her mother both signed. This document states the no refund policy 2 different times and is available on his daughters student portal. I have tried every way in my power to resolve and offer a resolution to this situation even contacting the State of Ohio 2 separate times. I can provide documentation showing all of the scheduling as well as the signed agreement if needed.please feel free to contact me with any other questions you may have.Initial Complaint

I went in to Class A + Driving School on June 27, 2022 to sign my son and daughter up for driving school. I was told I could come in and pay and sign all the paper work. I was there first thing in morning when they opened. I filled out a bunch of papers some of them twice because the place was very unorganized. I paid them $700 that day on the 27th. I was told I would be contacted with the class date and times. That never happened, I had to call and text several times to find out when they could start. The in class section of the school is done over Zoom. We were never got the info we needed to get in the class. Again I called and sent text messages several times before I could get an answer. I finally was told That I needed the Remind Ap. I since then downloaded the App but still don’t have the information I need for my kids to go to class that I paid $700 for. I had to text and ask for the time of the August 8th class but that was the only date given to me. I texted tonight after class because she didn’t tell the kids the schedule and we need to know when the next class is. This is what I got in response. “ You were given a packet that had a print out with all log in information & dates & times.” I was given no such thing. Horrible business, horrible people!Business Response
