    On May 1, 2025 I paid a stylist a $50 deposit for hair/make-up services for May 11, 2025. The stylist was supposed to provide bridal make-up and bridal hair services for my wedding. On the day of the wedding, the stylist, ***** ********, continually changed the time for the appointment until it reached a time in which I could no longer accept the appointment, as it would make me late to my own wedding. I told her I wanted my deposit back. She refused to refund me, stated that the policy said the deposit was non-refundable. She provided no policy, contract, or information at any point during the communications. Because of her actions it resulted in approx $1,200 worth of loss of services and unexpected purchases.

    ***** ******** was never employed by *. ******* Salon she was only a booth renter (Independent Contractor) and was asked to leave because of this incident.

    ******* ******* agreed to reschedule her appointment with me and then no-showed at the new time. As stated clearly in my booking policy visible and agreed to upon booking deposits are non-refundable. These policies are in place to protect my time, business, and income as a service provider.


    Despite her no-show, 22 days later she reached out to the salon owner and I chose to refund her deposit out of respect and professionalism, even though I was under no obligation to do so.


    Unfortunately, instead of resolving things privately, she took to social media to slander my name and hurt my business. Because of the backlash she stirred up, I ended up losing my booth all over a refunded deposit.


    Ive always done my best to treat clients fairly, with honesty and respect. Its heartbreaking to see someone try to tear down what Ive worked so hard to build, especially after I went above and beyond to resolve things kindly.


    I stand by my work and my integrity.
