I received a factory recall letters from *** of America. I took my car into Matt Taylor Kia in Lancaster, **** with my letter. And also told them of an loss of acceleration problem. That the recall should fix. They put it on the diagnostic machine & said "There is no problem."They took it for a test drive & said "There is no problem." Yet I have a problem with it losing exceleration frequently.. One day it totally stopped on me after it was not accelerating.I had it towed into Midas in Lancaster cause Matt ******************** said "There was no problem". It ended up costing me $1998.00 + 2 diagnostic charges & a rental car I have been payfor. This totals up to $3,100.00. That I paid out of my pocket when Matt ******************** told me there was no problem.

I bought a 2017 Kia Sedona Van in 2018. . When purchased it had low miles and was promised repairs would be taken care of as long as I owned the van for all transmission/ engine problems. In meantime, dealership sold. About 6 weeks ago it started acting up. Called Coughlin (formerly Matt Taylor Kia). And they would not honor it because it’s not Matt Taylor anymore. Took to a mechanic because I was told it was the timing chain to be repaired. When he took it apart the oil pan is filled with metal shavings that is thick and has been going on for a while- (the mechanic has pictures for proof) not something that happened over night. Called Kia and they won’t honor what the dealership told us either. We paid almost $20,000 for van and still owe quite a bit. After reading on kias website there are many lawsuits about the metal shavings. We want a resolution. Either a new engine, pay the piece of junk off that we can’t afford to fix and make payments too, or I want a new vehicle. I also want a rental car to do my every day business..
