    Bought a ski set with boots, poles, skis, and bindings from Aspen on 12/5/23. Skis were not ready for pickup until 12/26/23. Boot strap buckle broke on 1/1/24, plastic around rivet anchor point was torn away on left boot. Boots are made by ******* , ******* has a two year warranty on boots. Took boots to store on 1/3/24, employee said the boots were probably not repairable due to plastic being broke at anchor point. Aspen tried to tell me I hit something walking through resort, not accurate. Employee said ******* would not warranty. Employee said he would put spare parts on from ******* Ski Boots. I would not accept repair with mismatched parts from another manufacture. I did not feel safe using the boot after Aspen had said it was not repairable, especially with mismatched parts. My left ankle has been broken, and have had repeated severe strains. I have gone through repeated PT for treatment. Proper boot support is imperative to avoid further injury.

    Asked to return boots and upgrade to a better set of boots, Aspen denied. Asked for rental set of boots to be provided until issue resolved, Aspen denied. Went to another ******* approved dealer, ***. *** inspected boots and said issue should be covered under warranty. Contacted ******* and they said I must handle through dealer I purchased from.

    *******'s Warranty:
    "The certified technician at your ******* dealer will be able to inspect your equipment and assist with repairs and adjustments. In most cases, ******* does not require authorized dealers to physically return products for war-ranty evaluation which allows authorized dealers to offer the fastest resolution to your warranty claim. In the event that ******* is not able to repair or replace your product, ******* is not able to of-fer a refund for products purchased from dealer. Only the authorized ******* dealer where you purchased your product can offer a refund. In most cases"

    Going to have to buy another set of boots until resolved.
