January 4th 2023 i signed up for cyclebar and asked if the payments come out the same day each month to which i was told yes. Im currently a single household provider and which rent that i had to pay the beginning of February and 2 vacation trips i have coming so i could not afford the charge of cyclebar for the month of February. January 31st i called asking if i can cancel over the phone or come in and i was told to come in and told them i couldnt afford it to come out for February and all the lady on the phone said was i have to come in. Ive been constantly working so i couldnt go in until February 3rd and i tell the desk worker the same thing that i need to cancel and said how i couldnt afford the $130 charge to come out for February to which she just said ok and gave me a paper to sign and that was it. February 6th the charge of the $130 came out of my bank and i called them twice in the morning to dispute it. The lady who answered the phone told me i have to cancel 30 days before to not get charged for the next month. The worker i spoke to on the phone about canceling did not tell me that nor the worker when i went inside to sign the paper so i wasnt aware you had to do that. That means i wouldve had to cancel the DAY I SIGNED UP! The worker told me the manager austin is the only one who could refund me. I called them the same day to speak to austin to where i explained it to him an he put me on hold TWICE to “talk it over” for him to come back 20 minutes later to say since its in their policy he cant refund me. If its just the policy and i couldnt get a refund i wouldve been instantly told that not sitting on the phone for 20 minutes when the worker that morning told me he could give the refund. I wouldve had to read the entire terms and conditions myself because every employee failed to do their job to tell me you have to cancel 30 days prior until the money already came out! $130 WASTED for classes i wont even use cause i needed the money!
