      I am suspicious this is not a legitimate company as they sent me a collections bill for something that had already been paid. They had an actual amount, date of service and name of provider. When I reached out to the provider they confirmed not only that there was no outstanding balance on my account, but they do not even use a collection agency. Oddly enough, like others who have also said, there was no detail on their collections letter, I had to call the company to see what this was for, who was the provider and date of service. I do not think this is a legitimate company - I would throw out all future correspondence from KeyBridge without even opening it.

      KeyBridge reviewed the complaint and we have completed our investigation.  The consumer was initially notified by letter dated September 11, 2023, of our companys involvement in the account. Under federal regulation we are required to include detailed information in our initial communication. Our notice included the original creditor,date of service, balance due and information on how the account may be disputed.Our records show the consumers spouse then contacted our call center directly on November 29, 2023, and spoke to an account representative.  The issue regarding the account was documented and the caller was provided an email address so that we may expedite the issue.The account has been put on hold while we contact the original creditor to confirm account balance.

      We are uncertain why there is some confusion regarding our business relationship with the creditor.  In fact, our agency has been connected with the creditor since 2016. General Audit Corp doing business as KeyBridge Medical Revenue Care is a legitimate business. The consumer is encouraged to visit the **** Secretary of States website to validate.The consumer may also contact my office directly at ************ (*************************/Compliance Officer). We are investigating the account dispute. In conclusion, we will send notification by mail to the consumer.   We are hopeful this response eases some of the doubt regarding the legitimacy of our company.   In this day and age of scams and personal security, we certainly understand the concerns of any consumer and encourage others to always investigate if in doubt.
