My kids dad had a major stroke 3.5 months ago and he has a storage unit from them it got repoed . The company that owns it said I had 7 days to get my kids dad stuff out of it I went there when I saw they was selling our stuff. He won't let me have my stuff he sold and threw away so much of our stuff. The company that owns it even couldn't believe how they was being and said they should not of even opened the shed up yet because we was in our time frame. I lost thousands of dollars of stuff including our dead daughter stuff they threw away. They are so rude. I explained to them I can't help he had a stroke and isn't going to make it they didn't care at all was cussing at me

      With regards to ******* ****** Complaint ******** on 9/20/2022
First thing first ******* ****** was not on the rent-to-own purchase agreement and his signature was the only one on it.
this lady is being very untruthful about the events that took place.
On Spet 12, 2022 the repoed 8/12 shed was delivered to our lot at **** ***** ** **** **** in the contract that was signed by ***** ******** 03/23/2021 that all contents must be removed from the shed upon repossession of the shed All content was still in the shed when it was repossessed. It also states that if not emptied at the sole risk of the Lessee (***** ********) All contents must be retrieved by 5 days it was not in this case at all. Nor any contact with us until after we closed for the evening on the 5th day by ******* ******
******* stated that she did not know that the Rent-to -own payments were delinquent even thought the RTO company as been in communication with her about the Delinquency on the phone.

May 12, 2022 the RTO company got a hold of ***** & ******* for them to make a payment 60 days delinquent which it to only 30 days deliquent that was the very last payment made on this account which is prior to ***** Having his stroke???

The RTO Company contacted her on Aug 1st, Aug 3rd, Aug 8th, Aug 15th Aug 23rd with no payment insight so they decided to repo the shed on 9-12-2022 and was placed back in our inventory to resale on 9-14-2022 at that point once back in inventory we have the right to clean out any content in the shed to get ready to resale the shed. On 9-16-2022 the time frame according the RTO contract for them to get anything out of the shed at this point we can dispose of any and all content in the shed.

******* decided to contact us after we were already closed on 9/16/22 She called the sheriff dept and the deputies informed her that once repossessed and time expired that the stuff was no longer hers. We told the deputies & ******* that we would call the RTO company 1st thing Monday morning 9/19/22 to confirm that she called them on 9/12/2 like she told us and the sheriffs Dept.

So we followed up with the RTO company on 9/19/2 @9:00 am They told us that there is no record of her calling on 9/12/22 like she stated to us.

On 9/19/22 we called her to tell her that she could get her things out of the shed as long as it was completed by 6:00om on 9/19/22

The RTO company advised us to place a $250 deposit to make sure that the shed was totally cleaned out and that was no unwanted items left behind. The deposit was refunded to her in full that evening once the shed was broom swept out. So ******* actually got 95% of all her items back minus some out of date food that we threw out. on 9/16/22

As of us throwing out her dead daughters things we absolutely did not throw anything like that away. Since as far as we could tell nothing like that was in there! All items in shed was discounted items from box stores for her to resale as garage sale items. At no time did we cuss at her shes not telling the truth

As far as ******* desire out come is a refund which has no merit to a refund because what's there to refund we were within our right to start cleaning out the shed.

My desired outcome is for ******* to pay for the time that all the items were in the shed on my lot preventing us to resale the shed

In closing I want to stress the point and fact that ***** ******** was on the rent-to- own contact not ******* ******, So ******* really wasn't entitled to anything at all. She should be grateful that we let her get the items out of the shed.

******* had every opportunity to remove her items way before the shed was repoed since the account was delinquent Since March of 2022 way before ******* stroke She wants to blame everyone else for her situation

I feel we did right by her by letting her get the items which we didn't have to according to the contract
