My daughter had a wedding scheduled at the venue for 09/23/22. We should up the day before and the ceremony space was under construction. We spent $300+ dollars in decorations to cover up the construction rough edges. The day of the ceremony, neither appetizers or food were ordered for the event. They tried to order enough food from a local BBQ restaurant (an hour after the event) to feed all the guests. The food was lesser quality, it was slightly warm, not properly stored for transport, and it was not enough to feed all the guests. We were not told of this until the next day, but a third independent party. I tried to settle for many months, but they did not offer enough of a refund. I hired a lawyer, we had a settlement and they wanted us to sign a non-disparagement document that included us being responsible for "Russian hackers", "bots", or "anonymous" (among many others) review postings, which we could not agree to. We filed a court case, but it will not be heard until August 2024. I would like to settle and put this behind myself and my daughter. I have way too much documentation to upload. However, I uploaded the court filing and a timeline of the events.
