      I ended my contract with this company after certain promises were not honored. After I just had filled up the tank with propane. After telling the company I was not going to continue with there services, the owner started harassing me about picking up their tank which I was renting. I explained that I had been charged a fee for renting the tank and I was in the process of researching other companies.

      The owner told me he was going to take me to court. He had an attorney press the issue and threaten legal action. I was given a 14 day to respond, which I did. When I spoke to the attorney, he was equally aggressive and overreaching in what they could legally do. I was advised that if I let them pick up their tank I would be paid for the gas(technically my property) which is valued at over $700.

      I gave the company over 90 days to make good on their promises. Once again, the bully owner, called me today and told me that he has no intention of giving me the money owed to me and promised to me by his attorney. He told me that he had an $800 attorney bill, coincidently a little bit more than owed to me. This is also false since, as mentioned, before, I was advised differently from his own attorney.


      Please help. I'm afraid this bully is doing this to all of his customers.

      Owner of business called BBB and responded to this complaint by phone. He said the consumer did not use enough gallons to get the tank free and so was charged a rental fee. He refused to pay the fee so they told them they were going to pick up the tank. He had the Sheriff there and threatened them if they came on his property. At that point they left and both parties retained a lawyer. Mr ***** said if they had been allowed to pick up the tank, they would have refunded him the money for the propane. To avoid going to court, he allowed them to pick up the tank. The business' lawyer cost $800 so he will not be getting a refund for this reason.

      I am rejecting this response because: 


      No fees should have been charged to my account. This whole issue was due to an overzealous owner.   Please refer tot the letter from the attorne which stated I would receive back the money owed to me as long as I compl, which I did.
