    I went here 07/30/2024.
Absolutely careless and neglectful at this grooming place. For starters, yes, he had a few matting places on his leg and beard. But just to be clear nowhere near his eye. I’ve had miniature schnauzers my entire life and they have been more matted and other places have worked through the mats and were able to do a schnauzer cut. No more than 10 mins after dropping ***** off did they call me saying that they would have to shave him. It is the lack of effort and laziness that first put me off about Tara’s. But nonetheless I agreed that it was fine to shave him since it’s the summer. An hour later I get a call saying that they sliced open his eyelid. I told them to stop immediately. It is so careless of them and never have had this happen to my three other schnauzers that I have owned. They are careless, negligent, lazy, and effortless.

They have taken 0 accountability for their actions. If you look further through their reviews, you can see that this is not the first occasion that they have severely cut a dog. I just got ***** the night before taking him to Tara’s and all they did is tell me how to take care of his mats. But again, I just got him and I also let them know this before taking him in. I would also like to note that you are in fact taking care of dogs, which you can assume that they will move. Nonetheless, I took ***** to the vet that day (07/30/2024) to get his eye looked at. Luckily there were no lacerations in his eye, but due to the medicine that I have to give him to prevent infection and inflammation I am now out $250 for the mistake of the groomer and establishment. I would also like to note that I finished his shaving at home and he did not move, flinch, or jump. So are we really going to be blaming the dog here? I would like them to refund me for the vet bill.
