    We had Holroyd Construction come in October “23” and do our roof. We thought they did a great job so we moved forward with the siding. We paid them 7500 upfront on December 26th 2023. On January 2nd they came to remove our siding and start. We then gave him another 1260$ on January 16th. We were stupid to do that. We fired them on February 28th 2024 after them not showing up for almost 2 weeks and having another company come out and price us for gutters. That company looked at the roof and let us know of all the issues with it. The things they didn’t do and was in a contract. No ice guard on in some spots, no drip guards, no flashing around chimneys, no ridge vent! My house is missing siding, soffits, J channeling, siding placed on wrong… the list goes on. This went on for almost two months. They would come a day or two each week until later in February when they stopped coming. I told them I was having family in town for my birthday on the 14th 15th and 16th of February to avoid my house on those days. They never came back! The week of February 18th through 24th we texted a handful of times with no response. Saturday I sent him a text message stated he need to let me know what is going on and if I needed to get a different company to finish and seek legal action. After saying that I got a response saying I told him not to come! I then replied saying never did I not tell him not to come from the 18th to 24th. We brought up our concerns to them just to be told that that was the finishing steps. They advertise as having insurance, bonded but after going up to the courts I found out that is all false! They didn’t pull permits for neither our roof or siding. The company that came to look at our house said neither the roof or siding would pass any inspections. I did talk with a lawyer and put together pictures of everything and printed off all text messages to and from Holroyd. He is looking over everything and is getting back to me on what we can do.
