I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

In regards to Koellisch Carpet response I was told by Jimmy to come and pick out another carpet. He was not there, and nothing was said about what carpet I could or could not pick from. I did not threaten to file a criminal complaint I told the sales person Pat, I was contacting the Better Business Bureau. I never said I was marching down there with the police unless they are talking about my husband who is a retired police officer. They have not satisfied us, or I would not be calling the BBB after four months, really, and they Koellisch has my money, tried to to a lesser  grade of carpet in my house. Jimmy never called to tell me his sales rep. Is a liar, matter of fact I called three weeks after the initial mistake and Jimmy had yet to tell me or call me with this information. the carpet was discontinued
my house is torn up the bedroom Chester a drawers is in the master bath. The dresser and closet doors are in the dining room along with the nightstands. The baseboards are all in the middle of our family room floor. The drawers from the Chester a drawers are in the guestroom on the bed, bedding  is draped over the chairs in the dining room. All the shoes from the closet is on the floor in the dining room, I would say my house is torn up. We are in our 70’s and can not keep moving furniture in and out each time Jimmy said he is coming and don’t show.I am not paying for carpet that I don’t have anything in writing from him regarding an increase in the carpet that I picked Ou. at the beginning of September we made him the $500 offer and he never responded his sales person/secretary never responded we called we called and we called and they never called us back. Of course my husband went there to talk to them but Jimmy refused to talk to him. Unfortunately there was someone in the store that day and they heard the whole situation  at this point I want my $500 and I want him to go away. Thank you.

    Regards,

    ******* ********

nt on it and did not want to wait wanted him to come take it up right away he said no it would be OK. that it would not be a problem. told me because of July 4 it would take longer to order but he would do it right away when everybody was back from holiday. gave he ample time to order called 3 weeks later he told me the carpet was discontinued! needed to come in the store and pick ANYTHING out. We went the next day.called the carpet store down the street (Rakes) ask if my original carpet was discontinued they said NO. 8/22 told carpet would be here in2wks . I10/2 no carpet we have called with no return calls and promises Pat (salesperson ) would have Jimmy call
called and Pat said she would have him try to get it done by Friday ask her why she doesn’t return calls she was told by Jimmy NOT to return my calls! We have been very fair and respectful. We offered to take 500$ refund and go away to which he would not reply. My house has been torn up since 06/15/ unacceptable. Regrets

The carpet that Mrs. ******** chose was double the price of the carpet that was originally picked.  My sales rep lied to me and said that carpet was discontinued.   Mrs. ******** had threatened to file a criminal complaint and said she was going to "march down here with the police:  this did not occur.  Her husband came into store and was very disrespectful to the point he started bad mouthing this business to a person who came into store.  At that point he was told to leave the store.  We have tried to satisfy this customer to no avail. Their house is not torn up.

We have no problem with fixing and re-doing the carpet but not at $50.00 a yard product.  She stated they would settle for $500 from us when in actuality they owe us more money for carpet they now want.

I believe the business owner's response itself confirms and reinforces my complaint. His behavior is both inappropriate and unprofessional, and he did in fact make the decision to leave our home a mess and the job half-done. He has made no fair offer to resolve this issue, however I believe by posting this, it will make future customers aware of who they would be dealing with should they shop at his store.

Our response  I did nothing wrong expressing my opinion  I offered complainant an apology which she said wasn't  sincere.

She continued to yell at me like I was a child.  She fails to appreciate the fact that I was working hard doing her job on a Saturday

which I normally do not work.  I will not refund any money.    She has the carpet with the job almost complete.

She is a typical  "Liberal  Karen" in this country.
