    Pet adoption agency with terrible response and communication. Applied for a pet and was required to have a fenced-in yard. This is understandable and I was willing to make the adjustments. This was communicated to the organization, but ignored. I fenced in my yard per the requirement and the agency ignored repeated requests for phone calls. After applying almost two weeks ago and making the necessary adjustments to my property, the application coordinator, *****, (who only responds when told to by a member of the staff that doesnt work in the adoptions department) replied that the pet has been adopted. I do not recommend adopting from or donating to this agency. 0/5 experience, but one star required for review. Just go buy a dog at ********

    Im so sorry for your frustration, however after reviewing the email chain it was clearly stated that another applicant was chosen because for this animal we felt a fenced in yard was needed. We do not require it for every animal, we simply require a plan for the animal to be kept in the property lines. While we understand the frustration of not getting this animal, our job is to find the best fit for the animal and that was clearly stated in each email that a different home was found for this particular animal. Purchasing a pet may be the right decision for someone who requires an animal for allergies or a specific specification, however adopting saves lives. While we understand that your frustrated, we hope you will choose adoption in the future.
