My air conditioning went out, so I reached out to Future Air. It was a capacitor on the outside condenser, which is a $30 part at ********* Supply, where they get their parts. The part that they replaced mine with was smaller, which wasn't necessarily unusual, but instead of using a metal clamp to secure the capacitor, they used a plastic wire tie. They also charged me $350 just for the capacitor. I'm also concerned that the part that they replaced is the not the correct one, and that it may fail. I contacted the manager Adam about the price gouging of the part, and he was apathetic about the whole thing, and stood his ground. I do understand that these guys do mark up the price of parts, but 11X the price of the part is RIDICULOUS! On top of the $150 service fee for the 15 minutes the tech was there, it cost me $500 to replace a $30 part. I would not recommend using Future Air at all.

Our air conditioning went out and they did come in a timely manner but sent a technician who just finished school and clearly had no idea what he was doing. Our unit had the old freon and it needed 2 pounds to temporally fix it until we could get a new system due to a leak. They charged us almost $300 per pound plus the service fee of $200. So, for a guy who did not know the simple diagnostic testing, we paid $900. Our home did cool off for a few days and it went out again. They sent the same technician out the next day and once again, the freon was leaking and they gave us a free pound. I do not recommend this company to anyone. They are unprofessional and are not qualified to do what they claim to do.

For many years this place and the people were good. But the last year they have slacked in fixing the problem. My warranty expires in a month and I keep getting excuses that have never been an issue before now. It's been running 81 in house and this is just uncalled for. My 86 year old mom is being taken.
