    Today I went into Mattress King on ********** to purchase a twin sized mattress for my daughter. Now what happened today is not the first time that it has happened to me at that business. So there’s a big advertisement in front of the business written on a mattress that states “Any Sized Mattress $99”. So I walked in today to purchase a twin sized mattress for the advertised price of $99 and was casually and almost nonchalantly told “we don’t have any $99 ones, we’ll have some in a couple days, the ones we have are $150”. The way they said it sounded like it was rehearsed and that they were used to telling customers that, there was no “oh we’re sorry but we don’t have any at the time but we can do our best to find you a mattress close to that price” or ANYTHING. It was a callous interaction like “take it or leave it” and was unapologetic about it. I told them that they had a huge sign written on a TWIN MATTRESS in front of the business that says “any size $99” and that if they didn’t have any and all sizes for $99 then they should remove the advertisement until they get more. They did not care nor did they seem concerned or moved that I brought up the fact that they were falsely advertising their product.

    I’m sorry this customer had an unpleasant interaction with our salesman. I will use this opportunity for some needed training to address this situation. 

    It is true we advertise $99 any size mattress . As much as we try to keep them in stock we do sell out from time to time. We do offer rain checks and try to restock the stores on a daily basis. 

    Again I apologize for the poor customer service.
