I hired Mr. Wheeler to do the following work:
    • Install 1 wood railing on the back porch
    • install 5 upper cabinets, 4 lower cabinets, refrigerator cabinet and 1 pantry
    • build a half wall/encloser for the washer/dryer
    •Replace basement door
    •Hook up appliances.
•First day of service was on 1/8/2025, last date of service 1/22/2025.
On 1/24/2025 Mr. Wheeler sent me an invoice for $10,080. I had already paid a deposit of $1000. I questioned the total and paid him an additional $7000.00. When I was contacted again about the $3080. I requested an itemized invoice. Mr Wheeler continues to call and message me regarding the $3080. Most recently I received an unitemized invoice sent to my place of work via verified mail. I have asked more than once for an itemized invoice which he has failed to provide. I would like him to provide this before paying anymore. If he can not provide this I would like him to stop contacting me. I believe the amount I have already paid was too much.
Mr Wheeler did not complete the job and it was left unfinished. Furthermore I was unhappy with the quality of work. He built a “counter” and installed shelves, both of which I did not approve as far as material or design. The counter was unusable as it was unstained plywood, was only supported by brackets on two walls. I could have leaned on it and it would have broke. The “shelves” were unstained pine boards with brackets and visible mismatched screws. Both were taken down/removed. I had a gas leak in the basement from where they ran it to the stove. They broke trim in the basement and left it on the floor. Areas were on the wall that needed drywall and paint touch ups. The plumbing wasn’t finished to the sink and dishwasher. An outlet had to be put for the dishwasher. Trim was missing in various places. The list goes on. Pictures can be provided.
Note: the invoice I sent does not include the cost for the cabinets. I bought and had them delivered to my home.

This letter is in response to complaint #********

Thank you for bringing your recent experience to our
attention. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused by the
delay in receiving an itemized invoice. We have investigated this matter
and found that there was an error in our process that resulted in the delayed itemized
invoice. We have taken steps to prevent this from happening again.

    As a result, we are
    mailing you the itemized invoice.

Additionally, we carefully reviewed this complaint and documentation
provided.  Based on our records and
signed repayment agreement from the customer on 01/24/2025, we deny all other
allegations. While we understand the customer’s frustration, our invoice
clearly identified the remaining balance owed and repayment terms to which she
    signed.

We appreciate the opportunity to address this complaint. We
believe our actions were justified in accordance with the terms and conditions
    of our agreement.

The invoice I received from the business is not an itemized invoice. The job was left unfinished and some of the work provided was not professional and had to be redone
