I think they need better mechanics and they need to check their vehicles better. Bought a 2019 6 speed mustang from them on June 7th, 2023 with only 32,000 some odd miles on it and only put a little over 1,000 miles on it ourselves the motor blew. Before buying the car my fiance noticed it had and after market cold air intake and asked if the car had been tuned. We were told it had NOT. He got it home, was messing with things and unhooked the battery. When he reconnected the battery the check engine light came on and he made the assumption we were lied to. Drove it maybe 2 more times after that and it started smoking like a freight train. Come find out cylinder 7 and 8 were dead. 8 has scortch marks inside and Ford said that was from either a piston or rod along with there being metal in the motor. All the other cylinders had low compression. Stopped at KMA to see what our options were since we got the extra warranty they offer and was told until Fords manufacturer warranty lapsed, either from time (which wont be up until 11/2025), or mileage (which is impossible), their warranty won't pick it up. Ford's warranty is voided because there IS a tune on it. Kevin H***, at KMA tried to say us "kids" blew it up but that's not the case. They refuse to ask that they are partially responsible for selling a car they didn't properly check over before reselling. Now we're stuck paying $10,000 for a new motor and every warranty we were offered is void due to the original owner and none of this was told to us.

The Mustang was checked over by ASE technicians. The customer told KMA he had purchased $3,000 worth of stuff to upgrade the Mustang. Has this been done? The customer was working on the vehicle and he is not ASE trained.
You can install a cold air intake without a tune. KMA did not know the Mustang had a tune. All safety checks were done. KMA had no reason to hook up the car to the scanner because there were no known issues or check engine light on. KMA is not responsible for aftermarket parts that were installed on the car by prior owners. The other owners did not tell us that they installed aftermarket parts when they traded in the Mustang. KMA does not install or remove aftermarket parts.
The tune did not cause the problem, it just voided the warranty. The customer drove over 1000 miles and said the car was smoking and that was the only thing wrong with it. It had two bad cylinders, which the Ford dealership said they had seen the same two cylinders go out in other Mustangs. The customer tried to cover up the aftermarket parts. They said they thought they got it all off before they took it to the Ford dealership.
When the customer came to KMA, we called the previous owner and the only thing he did was put a straight pipe on it and he never had any problems with the car. Then we called original owner that bought the car new and he said he had it tuned at 5,000 miles and never had a problem with it. How did the current customer drive the car, like a race car?

If this isn't the biggest crock of **** I've ever read. You can keep trying to blame us, but clearly the issue was on one of the first 2 owners, and KMA didn't check the car over thoroughly before putting it back on their lot to be sold. Customer did NOT tell KMA we had parts we put on. We had parts at the house, can provide photos of the items we DIDNT put on that are still sitting in boxes at the house. We have parts that wouldn't have had any effect on the motor. They were cosmetic items. Ford told US that they've never seen a Coyote motor blow like this. Customers (myself and boyfriend) DIDNT have any aftermarket parts put on it while in our possession. All ***** did was put stickers on the back glass and roof. I don't believe those would cause a motor to blow. Current customer works 12-14 hours a day and barely got to drive the car. I also have recorded conversation the day we came to speak to KMA if you'd like a copy since you're trying to ******** your way out of fixing YOUR problem. Also your mechanic is NOT as certified unless he did it recently because when we asked, he didn't confirm he was. He just sat there like a bump on the log staring at us. And the fact that you held all these conversations with pervious owners outside the room, how are we to know what they confirmed and what you said. Because I know for a fact while you were out of the office we were sitting in, you were on the phone telling WHOEVER that we were, "just a couple KIDS looking to get a new motor". We're NOT "kids" and we weren't looking for you to put a new motor in we wanted something to be done about the extra warranty we purchased through you all, or MAYBE for your negligent selves to ASSIST in the new motor since tour fake ASE mechanic didn't check it over.
