0 ZERO stars. We've been customers of this business for years and is the only place we shop for appliances. Not anymore and I can see by other ratings how unhappy others are as well from the products to the managers. They are only worried about the sale and not the customer. Won't waive simple fees due to customer unhappy with a product to even exchange for another and still continue shopping with them. You don't know if you're going to like a product until you are going to use it. Unlike a fitting room, I can't use the item in the store to see if it's going to "fit" us or not, so instead you are stuck with a product that you hate and doesn't work as you need it to, or you're stuck paying another $200 to return it. Doesn't make any sense. Very unhappy. Managers *** and **** are horrible to talk with. Once you have a chance to talk, they only interrupt you to explain the hardships that's entailed on their end for why they have to charge us for us to return a product. They don't care of the hardship on the customer. Very rude men and we picked it up and installed it ourselves. They had the excuse of "all manuals are online" when I even explained that for a dishwasher, the user and install manuals that were inside we for an oven and how my husband had to rig the install as a piece was missing. Oh, now they could have ordered it, but that's another 2-week minimum we wait again without being able to use the product we purchased. We called immediately on these concerns the same purchase day too when we got home and noticed these issues. Bye Appliance Center, I know you don't care, but you've lost our business anyways.

We appreciate your long history as a customer and are genuinely sorry to hear that you were disappointed with your recent experience. We understand that appliances are a significant investment, and while not every product will suit every household, we aim to be as fair and consistent as possible in how we handle returns and ************ clarify, our return policy including applicable restocking fees is clearly outlined on our website and is consistent with standard industry practices. We also offer support during the selection process to help customers choose the best product for their needs and ******** this case, the item purchased was a display model from our clearance room and was sold at a discounted price. It was picked up, installed independently, and later used all of which limit our ability to accept it back. You mentioned that the unit is functioning properly but that you're unhappy with the interior space and tray design; however, personal preferences are not considered product defects. Regarding the manual, it was emailed to you by your sales representative on the day of purchase and is also available online, along with full installation guides provided directly by the manufacturer. If any part had been missing, we would have been happy to assist in resolving that ******** for our managers, we recognize that conversations can be frustrating when expectations dont align, but their goal is always to explain our policies as clearly and respectfully as possible. Were sorry this experience left you feeling dissatisfied and sincerely hope for the opportunity to provide a more positive one in the future.

Frustrating experience with the delivery process. They deliver appliances that they know have blemishes, but tell their team not to point it out to their customers. They seem to want to make their numbers at the expense of the customer. This business has no integrity.

We're sorry to hear that you were frustrated with your delivery experience. However, we must respectfully clarify that the claims made in your review are not accurate. We do not instruct our staff to hide product blemishes or mislead customers in any way. In fact, we hold our team to high standards of honesty and transparency, and take great care to disclose any visible imperfections, especially with clearance or open-box items. If a concern was missed or something didnt meet expectations, we encourage customers to contact us directly so we can address it properly. While we understand that delivery issues can be frustrating, we stand behind the integrity of our staff and the way we conduct business. We take all feedback seriously and remain committed to serving our customers with fairness and respect.

No stars for Appliance Center. I ordered and paid for a microwave oven on their website. I choose to pick it up at the store because the delivery charge is $49.00. (I live 3 miles from their Maumee store.) I called the store to find out when I could pick up my microwave oven. They told me that it is not in stock and the company is no longer making that model. I was very disappointed that you could order an item on their website that is no longer available. This is not good business. They will get me the newer model which is the same price. However, it won't be available for two weeks. I asked if they would deliver it to me for free because of the inconvenience. They transferred me to the store manager. The store manager said that the delivery charge was 25% of the price and he could not do it. I have purchased all my appliances (washer, dryer, dishwasher, oven, microwave oven, and dehumidifier) from them starting in 1991. I asked to speak to the owner. The store manager told me that the store owner pays him so that the store owner doesn't have to talk to the customers. You use to be able to speak to the owner in the store. I guess now you can only see the store owner in his commercials when he is telling you that Appliance Center is family-owned and that you are family. This will be the last appliance that I will be buying from this store. They use to give good service when they were smaller and you were able to talk to the owner. I guess they don't care about their old customers now that they are larger. I will be looking for a new appliance store.

I purchased a lift recliner from them in 2022. I've called them for service in Dec. of 2023 which they came out and assessed the problem, and ordered the parts. I've since called them 4 times to ask for an update on the service work, to no avail. They tell me they'll give it to the service manager, who never returns phone calls. You see I'm handicapped and just want my chair fixed, they've all ready gotten paid for half of the bill for repairs.

No stars for Appliance Center. I purchased an ** Range on May 21,2021 and also a 5yr extended warranty. On 10/27/23 (2yrs later)The range electrical connection caught fire and melted plastic connector smoke coming out between the back of range and the wall. Fortunately we were able to disconnect the plug.I called Appliance Center and was told they could have a service man out 11/6/23,6 working days later, long time without a range.Service man ordered the connector and told us to call when arrived. The part arrived 11/10/23.Called Appliance Center Service and was told a service man would be out 11/21/23, 8 working days more.On 11,21,23 The Service man arrived, replaced the part, but the range still was not operating correctly as he couldnt even set the clock or could you see how hot the oven temperature was, but he said it was working, but he order another part for the front of the range, dont know what it was. I told him to disconnect the range as it was not working correctly and I didnt trust it. The part arrived the day after THANKSGIVING 11/24/23.I called Appliance Center immediately and was told they could not send a service man out until 12/5/23, 10 more days, for a total of 25 WORKING days with out the range, so counting week-ends and Thanksgiving my renters were with out a range a total 36days.because the shotty service from Appliance Center to add insult to injury the second part ordered by the service man was not even necessary. I finally in,shear desperation, got in contact with the ****** and was then contacted By ****,Presidential Liasion. She in turn contacted an ** Tech they have in the area and he was out checked out the range, very informative.Didnt know why the Appliance Center Order the last part and laughed. So now the range is working properly. I was polite enough to cancel the Appliance Center service call.******

If I could I would give them zero stars. We purchased a refrigerator, washer, and dryer from them in May of 2021. They were great to work with and when the new dryer showed up and didn’t work they sent out another one within a few days. However, fast forward about 1.5 years and our dryer stopped heating up. I contacted their service department only to find out they will not service appliances in our area even after I told them I’d be willing to pay labor for the drive to our location. Seems like their service department and sales department needs to figure out their areas together. We did purchase the extra 5 year warranty only to find out from the warranty company that nobody will come here to work on the dryer. So, the warranty company says we are getting a new dryer. Great. Guess who gets called to deliver the new dryer, you guessed it, Appliance Center. The new dryer gets here and doesn’t work. The delivery guys load up both dryers and told me that we will be getting one or the other back. Meanwhile we haven’t had a clothes dryer for over 6 weeks. I’m sure we will eventually get a working dryer but it seems to me a lot of our time and money has been wasted in this process along with theirs. Oh, and there ad on the phone while waiting on hold says, “We service everything we sell.” I don’t think so!!
