    Decorative Sound (******* ********) was to provide a service on August 17th 2024, for our wedding. We signed a contract agreeing to pay $1195 (including a $100 deposit) which was paid in full back in June 2024, the contract does not say anything about cancellations. On August 16th my mom was in a severe car accident and sent to the hospital, we had to cancel the wedding the next day because all of the wedding décor were in the car and destroyed and my mom was still in the hospital. We reached out to all vendors including Decorative Sound, ******* emailed back on August 16th saying he was sorry about my mom and was perfectly fine moving the date or working with me on this. We decided on August 18th to just fully cancel the wedding and use all money we got back from vendors towards my moms medical costs. As soon as I emailed ******* about cancelling the wedding and getting a refund instead of rescheduling he completely cut all contact, blocked me and my fiancés numbers, and will not respond to any emails. We just want a refund on the money we paid, not including the deposit because I am under the assumption that is non refundable because of a cancellation. No service was provided.

    On August 27th my associate reached out to the bride over an email to let her know we would be sending her a partial refund of $695.00 and the remaining $500 to be used as a credit towards a future event.  She responded with where to send the refund.  There are personal reasons that I wasn't in contact with her in the time between the cancelled wedding and August 27th.  The refund was processed back to the bride the same day of her response.  Please let me know if there is any further information needed.
