    I paid for a service that i have not received. *** has ignored my case. *** has ignored my email and phone calls asking for a updates. *** has had ample time and ability to respond but neglects to inform me of my case or produce results. I have since hired another person to do the job. I filed a fraud complaint with my bank against jgi LLC. but *** fought to have that payment forced down my throat. He tells the fraud specialists that "he will call me soon". it's been two years and no attempt by *** to respond to my inquiries has been made. No phone call has been made by *** or recieved by me from ***. He's had more than ample time to do this job. He's had more than ample time to respond.. i want my $1500 back from this criminal. I'm a severly disabled veteran on a fixed income. *** has taken advantage of me. Judging by his google reviews, *** has taken advantage of others as well.

    Good afternoon ********,

     

    On behalf of *** LaRiviere, please see below our response to the complaint made by Mr. ***** ******** regarding our business.

    After reviewing Mr. ********’s complaint, we believe that the statement has no validity. Below are the reasons as to why.

     

    A letter was provided by attorney ***** ****, which states that Mr. ******** was no longer his client (Please see attached). We had decided to take on Mr. ********’s case because he had stated that Mr. **** represented him; however, this was not the case. Mr. **** had withdrawn from representing Mr. ******** in 2012.
    Attached are the emails that we have received over time from Mr. ********. The emails sent had drastically shifted the focus of the investigation. Many of the emails we had received were sent by Mr. ******** in the middle of the night.
    Our research analyst had completed research for Mr. ********’s case. *** had contacted Mr. ******** via phone in mid-2020 and stated that we were no longer able to assist him. During this conversation, *** had stated that Mr. ******** had a small balance left from his retainer fee. *** stated that he would refund Mr. ******** the remaining balance, and Mr. ******** had told him not to. Please note that Mr. ******** had paid $1,000 total from the retainer costs, not $1,500. He was also charged an additional $25 since he was paying with an American Express card, due to the high transaction fees.
