    Gilts Residential did a full kitchen renovation for our home, plus installed new flooring on our first floor. Mr. ***** and his family were personally very easy to work with, and very respectful to my husband and me. Most of the work was completed professionally, but many small finishing projects have been left undone. Near the end of the project, we were told that their work would be completed by the end of the day and Mr. ***** asked for his final payment, in cash if possible. My husband went to the bank and got the cash and gave it to Mr. *****. But they ended up not actually finishing the work that day. My husband has called multiple times, and while one of his crew did come and work on a couple of the items, there is still finishing work to be done. We have continued to call, but no action has been done. Since we now only get the answer that someone will call us back, which never happens, we are left with only the recourse of filing this complaint.

    I am rejecting this response because:

    Mr. ***** never had the courtesy to even contact either myself or my husband to say what it was that he would even fix.  His father did come to our house within the last week to complete the outside framing of our sliding glass door that they had installed (please see attached pictures showing how they originally left this work undone), and he did install quarter round to cover gapping hole left around our front door after installation of vinyl flooring.  Still left undone - broken baseboard in family room, peeling of new bathroom cabinet, bathroom sink will not drain due to incorrect installation of drain stopper, missing or sloppy installation of molding around kitchen cabinets, mis matched flooring installed behind refrigerator,  vinyl flooring installed in entire first floor has gaps/buckles in many areas, sloppy finishing work on kitchen walls.
