  Denise and the entire Building Blocks team have been absolutely phenomenal throughout our adoption journey, and we have heard exactly the same thing from the birth mothers we have gotten to know. In addition to working with fantastic social workers who care to understand the situations of both the birth parents and adoptive parents, they have helped handle several very high highs and very low lows with a tremendous amount of empathy and understanding. They are incredibly responsive and professional in answering all of our questions and helping us understand an adoption process we knew nothing about previously. Trust is so important in such a life-changing and vulnerable process as adoption, and the Building Blocks team handles everything with so much grace it was easy to develop a strong trust with them. We highly recommend and would be excited to get to work with them again!

  My husband and I chose **** after almost 5 years of infertility. Feeling nervous and excited, Building Blocks helped us feel calm, confident, and prepared to take on our adoption journey. In a couple months we had completed our home study, met with and built an amazing connection with our social worker and were ready for a child. 6 short months later we were called to the hospital to meet our son! We met our son and his birth *** and her family. We fell in love with them in minutes. It's like the whole world aligned to put us all together. What I loved most about **** and a huge reason why we chose them for our journey, is the attention they give to families and ***s. It was important to my husband and I to find an agency that prioritized the mental health and wellbeing of birth families. ******* ****** ******, ***** and more made it abundantly clear that their first priority is that everyone in the adoption process feels cared for and valued. Adoption is wonderful but it's also very hard, specifically on birth families and in the world of adoption it's easy for birth families to be lost. Building Blocks has always and will always put birth families at the top of the list, prioritizing walking hand-in-hand with them on a difficult journey, and not leaving them behind after the baby has gone home. My sons first *** was always treated with respect, kindness and unconditional support. I loved that her social worker was a birth *** herself and could offer her real empathy to her situation and help her in a way other people may not understand. I truly believe that because of the way we were all treated by **** and their staff, our situation has been so strong and we have an open adoption with our son and his ***. It's also why we have chosen to work with them again for a second adoption because we believe that birth ***s matter to them!

  Working with **** as an adoptive family has been a great experience. Let's face it, adoption is difficult for anyone involved and can be very scary. The staff and social workers at **** were compassionate and helpful, not just to me and my husband, but both birth mothers we worked with, ****** family has worked with **** through two adoptions, one successful and one failed. What I appreciated most is that **** provided the same amount of support to us as they did to each birth mother. Through our first adoption, even though it was out of state, we felt that our birth mother received timely information, local services and an immense amount of understanding and compassion. With our failed adoption, which was in state, things happened very quickly and during the holidays. Despite these things, there was never a delay in getting what we, or the birth mother needed. While a failed adoption is heartbreaking, **** provided amazing support and encouragement. We are currently working with **** with the hopes of adopting again and anticipate the same support from staff and social workers in this experience.

  Building Blocks has been wonderful from the beginning. We were well informed of costs, expectations and kept up to speed on any changes that took place. We were never wondering what was going on. It was refreshing to know if we had questions or concerns, theyd be available to answer in a very timely manner. Although its been quite a lengthy process, as we were told, we have been very happy with the results. We now have our 9 month old perfect baby daughter. And without BB, this wouldnt be our life today. We are very thankful!!

  My wife and I are very glad we chose to partner with Building Blocks Adoption Service to adopt our child. The members we worked with were communicative, helpful, knowledgeable, and above all, caring and personable. BBAS helped us navigate the many complexities of adoption with expertise.   We adopted through Building Blocks Adoption Service, they processed our entire adoption from beginning to end and now we are a happy family of three. We chose this agency because we knew another family who had adopted through them and loved their experience. The social worker who completed our homestudy was caring and professional and we really enjoyed working with her. The process to complete the home study was simple and we loved the step by step approach. Communication, professionalism, and care are what you will receive when working with BBAS. BBAS met our birthmother often, they provided her with much support and respect and helped her navigate a difficult situation We love our birth mom, she is so sweet and lovely, she will always be part of our daughters birth story.
