  They do not service or inspect their cars and did not get a Carfax like their ad says motor went out two days after having it. They did take care of that but there is so much mud underneath this truck. It is unreal transmissions out Cadillac converters have been played with, its just a shame. I gotta fix this truck up I could have almost bought a new one by the time Im done

  Caution: Do not buy from this dealership. We were totally ripped off. They sold us a 2001 Honda CR-V. We paid cash as it was under $5k and being such an old car of course it was sold as is. They told us their mechanic said it was in good shape and ready to go. It ran very well but it did not pass e-check. When we took it to get repaired, the mechanic we took it to said the frame was so rusted out that it was unsafe to drive. He took photos for us to see and said there was no way a legitimate mechanic would not have seen it. He told us he wouldn’t bother fixing it and we shouldn’t risk driving it. Thankfully he did not charge us for his time. So we basically were out thousands of dollars with no car. We couldn’t even get it sold for parts on Marketplace when we were honest with interested buyers. We had it picked up by a junker for a few hundred dollars. Lesson learned not to trust any dealership and have a car checked out by our own mechanic.

  Avoid at all cost! My husband and I purchased a truck from Southern Select at the end of July. The truck did not even make it back to our home before breaking down. While the shop did offer to fix the truck, they asked us to tow at our expense and when we refused tried to strong arm us by saying if we did not get the truck there right away their mechanic would be on vacation for a week. This is the day after we paid cash for a truck. While they did offer to take a look at the truck, I was asked four different times to foot the bill (in a variety of ways) for the tow because, as the salesman said Im not trying to spend that much money. The mechanic did look at the truck the day before we picked it up and the truck still had issues which resulted in the breakdown on the way home. After terrible customer service we decided to take the truck elsewhere to have repairs. These repairs ended up costing us in addition to the original tow when the car broke down. This company does not stand behind their products and does not sell quality goods. Avoid at all costs. I wish we would have.

  We acknowledged the customers issue and after finding out that the serpentine belt and pulley broke on the 2008 Dodge Ram with 167k miles, we offered to fix it. We wanted to get the vehicle in as soon as possible because we knew that we would be without a mechanic the following week. The company that the customer originally towed the truck with wanted to charge almost 35% more for the tow then the companies we have dealt with in the past. We scheduled a tow at our expense for the following day. Once we contacted the customer to confirm the pickup, she stated that she will be taking the truck to a mechanic by her house. Even though the customer bought the truck "AS-IS", we still offered to fix the truck and tow the truck at our expense.
