    We paid to have a tree removed, including the stump, and some other trees trimmed in 2022. They performed the job but didn't remove the stump. We called multiple times to get them to come out to finish what we paid for. If you are lucky enough to get them to answer they tell you a day and never show up. This happened multiple times.

    I don't believe a stump removal was apart of the price he paid.  His check kept bouncing. I paid $40.00 for a bounced check.  I told him that I would come out once it's not raining and once it is dry and I am available.

    I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

    It is an interesting statement for him to make saying, "I do not believe removing the stump was part of the job." That is a new development to me as every time we have been lucky enough for him to answer the phone he would say he would come when it was dry. He would even provide specific days when he would show up and then never show. The yard being wet was his initial reason for not removing the stump back in October of 2022 when the job was paid for as well. Of course, it has been dry for months now. Not once was it ever questioned about removing the stump. It was not an assumption on our part, it was a specific part of the agreement. He would even provide specific days when he would show up to remove the stump and then never show. We have been extremely patient waiting for this to get done up to this point. 
     As far as the check bouncing, the check was good, there was some issue with his bank not processing the check correctly which we had no control over. Obviously the check was good or he never would have been able to cash it at all. We made sure it was made right as soon as he notified us of this last October. 
     We even had this guy do a big job for our neighbors while he was here. It is very disappointing that he is acting so unprofessional apparently over a $40 bank fee that we had no control over when he got thousands in business from us and our neighbors.

    Unfortunately, no written agreement nor was a receipt ever provided to us by this company. Live and learn on our part. I wish I had recorded all of the phone conversations between myself, my wife, and this man.
