This is in reference to the female pharmacist employed there as of June 26, 2025. She has changed the refill amounts on my prescription without my or my doctor's consent. When I asked why, she used the excuse she was committing insurance fraud by following my doctor's refills. I called my insurance and they said that was not heard of as my doctor puts in the refill amounts and it can be refilled at 30 day increments. The pharmacist was rude and condescending and I cannot, in good conscience, recommend her to anyone. This coupled with the fact that they do not order one of my medications to have on had monthly even though I have been on it for years. My insurance company even called to ask them to have it on hand. Yet, they still do not. I don't live close to this pharmacy either. If she is committing fraud, it is because she is changing a doctor's prescription without consent, not that she is refilling it. It is also not a controlled substance. This is plain vindictive.

I went to the store in Garfield Heights on Oct 5 and you purchased bbq ribs and I forgot to take the bag. I called the store the same day and was told to come to the store with my receipt which I did on Oct 6. They called me back on Oct 7 and that he did leave them. They told me to come back today to get my refund which I did and was shorted $5.00. I went back and the person in customer service said I was a liar.

I went to Marc's to return a phone charging cord & car plug-in that I purchased 2 or 3 days before. I had the packaging and receipt.
The guy at customer service said he needed to scan my driver's license to return a $6.99 charger.
That seemed pretty intrusive - it's not like I'm returning an expensive TV or wanting to buy alcohol or cold medicine. I asked to speak to the manager. I asked the manager why is this information needed - his answer, "I don't know.". I asked will I start getting junk mail - his answer, "I don't know." I asked if I would start getting junk email - his answer, "I don't know." I asked what does Marc's do with my information - his answer, "I don't know."
But he did say that scanning my driver's license was the only way I would get my money back.
Not only did he not know anything, but he didn't care either.
I opted not to return the item that I won't be using (because it's defective) because I feel like Marc's is taking personal information and doing who knows what with it, but if I want my money back I don't have any choice but to give it.
I'm really angry about this. I'm angry that Marc's wants this information for who knows what and that returning an item is so intrusive. It's not like Marc's is a high end jewelry store or a pharmacy. I'm also angry that the manager couldn't answer any of my questions and that he was completely indifferent to my concerns.
I tried to email the corporate office and after providing all my information on Marc's website it requires you enter a security code. How do I find the security code? I have no idea as the website provides zero clues.
So contacting them through their website isn't possible.
When I used the charging cord I purchased my phone would tell me the port has moisture in it, which does not happen with any other charging cord I've used.
      So I'm stuck with a defective cord/charger.

Today , November 3, 2023, I was busy all day cleaning house, cutting the lawn, cleaning out the Garage and at the end of the day around 6:30 p.m., everything was done except buying groceries. I went to Marc's in Boardman. Not many people shopping and I knew what I came for and a couple extras. Not long after getting there I hear this voice over the intercom, just a bunch of numbers, and not longer after I'm in the soup isle, reading the ingredients of this broth vs. another. I turned and this guy was rounding the corner and pretended he was straightening something on the shelf opposite myself but was really watching what I was doing and pretended he wasn't. Now I'm not from Mahoning county, did not grow up here, but I was taught that customer service was the foundation of any business. This guy could of approached and asked if I was finding everything I came for, and I would ask him if they no longer carried the low-sodium broth I was searching for, thanked him and that would be that....I did at one time asked someone in that store if theft was a problem as I've heard from other stores. Now I can't help you solve that, as I'm just there to buy groceries, but we could have a conversation about how our days are going so far and end on a positive note...

I was at the Mark's today at 241 Wooster road North barberton Ohio 44203 and I went up to the manager Matt and asked him where the bananas were and he proceeded to get rude with me and told me he didn't have time to help me look for that so then I found another manager I believe her name was Jackie and she got nasty with me and wouldn't help me either so I was looking for these bananas and I heard that manager Matt yelling at an employee and told her to leave the store the poor girl left crying not only do they treat their customers like crap their employees are being treated unjustly too this poor girl was just trying to do her job she was trying to ask him a question and he refused to help her or me for that matter I really think that Marcs corporation needs to look in to the type of managers that they hire at this particular store because it's going to ruin this store I will never be coming back to the store again I'm going to make sure that Akron and all of barberton knows what a horrible store this is and that they treat their customers and their employees like dogs worse than dogs I've worked retail for 29 years and never have I ever thought to treat a customer the way I was treated today or for that matter treat my employees that way either employees deserve to be treated with respect when they're only trying to do their job
