  I purchased a 14 year old Rocky Mountain Mare and I am THOROUGHLY satisfied that she is arguably the BEST horse I've owned in 30 years of horse ownership! She is TOTALLY ground safe, gentle and willing to do ALL that I ask of her. The horse was honestly and truthfully represented and the price by today's standard was a fair price. The vet gave her a clean bill of health, the farrier says her hooves are sound. No one (be it seller or buyer) can say with absolute certainly how a horse is going to work out until it becomes accustomed to new surroundings and ownership. HOWEVER, this little mare is MORE than I ever expected. VERY HAPPY! *** ******* **** ******* **** ******** ** *****

  Just bought a horse from here 2 days ago and was lied to about everything was told the horse was a yearling gelding and had been wormed well we had a vet come out for and emergency call and found its belly was full a parasites and would have died in a week without treatment which tells me he had never been wormed and the vet also told us he had never been casterated and is still a stud and vet also thinks the horse is a little bit older than we think more like 1 1/2 years instead of being less than a year like we were told he was also very under weight like he had never been fed this place should be reported for mistreatment of animals

  I am not sure who Zach is that posted this review. He has never been to our farm. The yearling in reference that was sold to someone he may know was wormed with ******* brand wormer within the past week of being sold. Yearling by definition means an animal that is a year old or that is in its second year. Without registration papers or being present at the time of birth, yearling by definition is a guesstimate of approximate age. The horse was not misrepresented by age. Also, the yearling came to West Side Stables with a current negative coggins paper stating BY A LICENSED VETERINARIAN that he is a gelding. He was advertised and sold according to that legal document provided to West Side Stables by a licensed veterinarian.. Best Regards.

  This is a flipper!! That is all this place is. I purchased a horse June 30. When we got there the female worker/owner punched the horse in the side to get it to lift its feet to show us how she stands for the farrier. She wouldn’t make eye contact or any seer questions, always diverted to another topic. She said ‘contact me on july5 to get a copy of the coggins test, I can have it mailed. She’s ghosted me and blocked me on ******** when I send a text or message asking for the test to be sent. She had 30-40 horses in an area that should have housed 10.

  Hello. I am not sure if your phone is not receiving my text or what but I let you know the coggins was snail mailed when you came for the pony and as soon I received it I would send it to you. I also stated it would be in a couple weeks. Also as per our text, I would be out of town for a length of time. However, I did send you the coggins paper and offered to mail it to you. I have text you numerous times and left voice messages with no response from you. I am happy to include any and all screen shots of our texting. As for **, you were posting negative and rude comments on my page for no reason. The paperwork has been sent to you and I clearly replied to your text messages. I do apologize for any inconvenience on my part but I do have the texting to show I did respond and sent you the paperwork you asked for.

  Bought a horse from west side stables and the horse has been perfect. Horse was as described !! I would recommend them to anyone looking to purchase a horse.

  I do apologize if a horse was sold before your appointment. We do not hold horses without a deposit. We always ask for a text the evening before the appointment to confirm availability. Im not sure of this particular incident as you did not clearly express the situation but we do want to apologize of any hurt feelings as that would not be our intention.

  My sister and I decided to give this place a chance despite all the awful things said about it. It is a must see for yourself type place. Yes they do buy and sell auction kill pin animals. You will find over crowded stalls and lots. I'm surprised this place is allowed were its at. The advertising is the same wording for every horse. My sister put a deposit down on a horse by phone and this horse acted up too much while trying to ride it. Asked for deposit back and yes it was returned but only after Eric called my sister up and chewed her out about never in his life has he ever given a deposit back. Not very professional at all.
