I have been going to this location to have my oil change for several years without any problems. My sticker said I was due for an oil change at 66,000 miles. I went in around 67,000. I raised the hood of the vehicle and started the process as I have always done. M**** (I believe his name was or something like that) said, "Oh I remember you. I think I was under your car and did your oil change the last time you were here. You aren't due for an oil change. You have synthetic oil so you are good for about 7000-8000 miles not every 3,000 miles so I am not going to take your money." I thought this was EXTREMELY odd. They have been telling me literally every time I come that I require every 3000-mile changes. If this is not the case and it is truly every 7000 or so, they have been stealing my money by telling me wrong. This is the first issue. Fast forward to a week after this incident. I notice my driveway has a spot of oil on it. I look under my car and notice that the underside is covered in oil and there is a screw broken. I immediately took my car to M**** to have them assess the situation. They instantly come out and asked me who did my oil change last because the oil filter housing was damaged and there is oil EVERYWHERE. Apparently, there was a part that was tightened too tight causing the filter housing to crack. I suspect that when I went to Take 5 and raised my hood when they turned me away, they noticed the leak and didn't want to tell me/own it since they are the one that has always done my changes on this vehicle. I just had to pay $689.98 to M**** for parts/labor for the oil filter housing and another $81.94 for the vehicle inspection/oil change.
