  I contracted with this company in April, 2022 to replace the original lumber deck with a TimberTech deck. After giving the owner a check for half of the project, I didn't hear anything from him for 3 months. Our arrangement was to have a crew do the job in the spring over several weekends. After contacting the owner, I was put off for another 6 weeks. At the beginning of demo, I asked him if he had pulled the needed permits. His answer was yes. The project dragged on for months with excuses as to why he couldn't come. He had an unskilled worker showing up and using nails to put the skirting on. I called TimberTech to get information on the correct way to install their product. I pointed out to the owner on several occasions that things did not look right. After much back and both with text messages, the project neared completion in late November. I kept texting for him to come back and fix many issues. He side-stepped by sending an email rather than calling. I never heard from him again. The deck is a mess. Not only does it look terrible, it is falling apart. To make matters worse, he damaged the electric lines coming into my house and I had a complete Edison failure in February 2023. The electrical crews showed me where a post was dug and the lines were damaged causing the failure. If they had not been able to splice the lines, I would have had to hire a contractor to trench new power lines to my home. Because of the power surges caused by the damaged lines, I had a cascade of issues with appliances. After contacting TimberTech, I was able to find a contractor who is going to tear down the deck and rebuild it using as much material as can be salvaged. As the new contractor began looking into my situation, he learned that NO PERMITS were pulled for the job. Not only is the deck not permitted, but is not in compliance with the townships requirement of 25 feet from the back lot line. I have been working with my lawyer. He should be shut down!

  This company did a lumber front porch and a composite deck in my back yard. The job was so shoddy, they had to come back out and repair the poor workmanship that was originally done by them. The builder didn't follow the plans so he had to redo the front porch, the composite deck in the back yard was absolutely horrible. The deck itself was like walking on a spring board, the rails were cut uneven, the steps were only 3 feet wide and had to be made wider, corners didn't match up, composite boards were falling off the decking, plus many other issues. They only contacted me back when I left a negative review on Google. They sent a second crew to fix the issues, they only made them worse. There's huge gaps where the corners come together, the rails are still uneven, and the gaps on the steps are worse now since they've been fixed. They need to be shut down! Return some of my money so I can get it fixed correctly.
