I was very clear with her, VERY clear that I like to have the appearance of extensions but most definitely didn't want to have umbrella looking lashes. I showed her a picture for reference. She understood and began.
When she pulled the tape off underneath my eyes it pulled and left red marks. When the tech handed me the mirror I started laughing. I honestly thought I was being punked.
I quickly panicked. I said there was absolutely no way I was leaving looking like that. She immediately blamed me and told me I asked for volume lashes. I said yes, I've always gotten volume and have never looked like that. I explained this looked NOTHING like the picture. She told me again I shouldn't have asked for something I didn't want. Hair is my specialty NOT lashes. She didn't pay any attention to the pictures.
She called the owner. She told me it was my fault. I've looked at the pictures online and should have known what I was getting. I said again, but nothing about the pictures I showed even remotely resembled what I was given. No one cared. All they wanted was my money. They made it abundantly clear that I would be paying for the lashes AND the removal. I said I would absolutely not pay for the removal. It burned like fire. She said she had to leave it on for 15 minutes. I cried the entire time and told her how horribly it burned. After the 15 she removed the paste and began pulling the extensions and my natural eye lashes out/ off. I continued to cry and asked to please be done. She said she had to do another round and I refused. My eyes were on fire. When I got up she told me I needed to pay her for the removal. The unsuccessful removal. I asked her to call her boss as I wouldn't pay another penny. She refused. She handed me a business card and told me to call myself. I called, sobbing. Her only concern was that I paid for the the lashes. Sobbing I said yes, so she told the tech to allow me to leave.

**** booked a Volume Full Set Lashes online herself on our website. I have attached a reference of the difference between; Classic, Hybrid, & Volume Lash Thickness. We did the Volume Full Set Lashes for her on 9/9/23. She complained the lashes was too full & didn't like them. I also attached a after photo of the lashes after the Volume Full Set.  But she booked a Volume Set which is a full thickness of lashes. I spoke with **** about the problem she started to compare volume lashes from our studio to another lash place she goes too. Which is very rude. She should of went to that lash place if that is what she wanted. **** wanted the lashes to be remove. The lash application is used with glue & the glue has a mixture of chemicals. The lash removal is a solution that dissolves the glue which is another chemical process. We don't recommend doing both processes in the same day because it can be too much on the eyes. Removing lashes the same day can be hard because the glue is meant to hold the lashes on the lashes 3 weeks to a month on the natural lashes. And it can take a little longer then normal because its fresh set of lashes. The lash artist started the process of removing the lashes with the lash remover solution. If the lash remover solution gets into the eyes it can be irritating to the eyes but it doesn't harm the eyes in any way. Just have to stay calm through that process so the tech could fix the situation. But once **** felt the irritation in the eye she became irrational & crying.  Didn't want to continue the lash removal process & didn't pay for it.  She is a very rude client & have unrealistic expectations. We at Barcode Glam Studio are here to enhance the natural beauty, uplift & encourage every client that walks in our pink world & She was just so negative & a cry baby. She is not welcomed at Barcode Glam. She also filled out & signed our lash consent & our late/cancelation policy. Which we don't offer refunds. I would suggest she do more research on the type of lashes she likes & not keep an unrealistic expectation of comparing lash salons to other lash salons. We are the #1 Lash Studio in Cincinnati for a reason.
